Kimberly Townes, DDS is originally from Richmond, Virginia where she was a track and field stand out for Highland Springs High School. She then attended The University of Tennessee, Knoxville on a full athletic scholarship, where she earned a B.S. degree in Biology / Pre-Dentistry. Dr. Townes then matriculated toMeharry Medical College / School of Dentistry, in Nashville, Tennessee. While at Meharry, she received a 3-year U.S. Army Health Professions scholarship which propelled her career into the Army, serving with tours in Camp Casey, Korea and Ft. Meade, Maryland. Dr. Townes then completed a General Practice Residency Training, at Lutheran Medical Center, in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Townes has been practicing dentistry for15 years now,5 of which have been in Alexandria, Virginia. She is a member of theAmerican Dental Association,Northern VA Dental Association, the VA Dental Association and theAcademy of General Dentistry.
