After graduating from St. Louis University School of Dentistry and serving three years in the Navy, Dr. J. Richard Landgraf started practicing dentistry in Dellwood, Missouri in 1956. He moved the practice to its current location, in Florissant at Rue St. Catherine and New Florissant Road, in 1980. Dr. John Landgraf joined his fathers practice in 1978, after his graduation from the Washington University School of Dental Medicine. Following the family profession, Dr. Sean Landgraf joined the practice in 2014.
The legacy of friendly, personal service begun by Dr. J. Richard Landgraf fifty years ago lives on in our family-oriented practice today. Dr. Sean Landgraf, DDS is the third generation of the family to join the practice. He graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry and is excited to carry on the family business. He always knew dentistry was the career for him and started working toward it at a young age. He is now a proud member of the Florissant Dental Services team. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater St Louis Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Sean said his love for dentistry stems from his enjoyment in fixing things. When not in the office, he enjoys repairing broken items and bringing them back to life. Its extremely satisfying repairing things, I feel the same way after helping people with dentistry. Dr. Sean also enjoys St. Louis sporting events, the outdoors, and traveling.
Dr. John Landgraf began his career in dentistry over 35 years ago, when he worked as a dental laboratory technician making crowns and dentures for dentists. In dental practice for over 25 years, Dr. Landgraf remains on top of his profession in order to provide patients the best dental care available. An honors graduate of Washington University School of Dental Medicine, he is also a past instructor in the Universitys Department of Operative Dentistry.
Dr. Landgraf is able to offer his patients the best options because he completes more than twice the required continuing education for licensure each year. He is also a member of local study clubs, which provide professional forums to explore developments in the dental field.
Dr. Landgraf is an active member of the American Dental Association, the International Association of Orthodontics, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also volunteers as a staff dentist at the Community Health in Partnership Services (CHIPS) Clinic and as an educator to train and certify dental assistants performing expanded dental functions. Patients can feel confident that Dr. Landgraf possesses the background, the experience, and the passion to provide the best available dental care.
Dr. Pyle grew up in a suburb of Kansas City called Lenexa, KS with his four siblings. He has been a big family man his whole life, despite not having a wife or kids himself. He still frequently heads home to see his family as often as time permits. Dr. Pyle attended Kansas State University and received his Biology degree in four years, then attending A.T. Still University for dental school soon after.
Dr. Pyle enjoys reading and being outdoors, as well as rollerblading in his free time. He looks forward to traveling and continuing to increase his dental knowledge and abilities, as well as giving back to the community wherever possible.

Everyone was very professional and caring and patient my anxiety was all over the place I didn't feel any pain and I left there feeling 100% better than I did when I walked in I recommend them to a few of my family and friends already

Went to my appointment and they weren't prepared to start treating me due to insurance (other dentists haven had that problem) I have a bad infection from cancer treatment. After my initial visit the dentist told me I need to hurry bc if I don't I'm gonna keep losing teeth. Then the next appointment it all Changed they didn't have any sense of urgency. Well it's been 2 weeks and I still haven't heard from them. Will try again on Monday. They seem very nice and this could be fluke, but this fluke is costing my smile.

I was made comfortable and calm during my procedure. I have had quite a bit of anxiety about dentists digging around in my mouth however this was one of the better experiences I have had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I cared about who needed dental work.

I had a chipped front tooth. Dr. Pyle was able to fix it and now my tooth looks better than it did before I chipped it. Highly recommend!!
