We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.
Dr. Carla Daugherty is a general dentist and native of Saint Louis, Missouri. She received a full academic scholarship and her undergraduate training from Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina where she graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then went on to Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, in Nashville, Tennessee where she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Daugherty also completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. She is currently licensed to practice Dentistry in the states of Missouri and Illinois.
Dr. Daugherty began her dental career in Public Health Dentistry, providing quality dental care to those who have come to expect and appreciate it. Her ongoing commitment is to educate and emphasize the importance of oral health care.
Ive been active in the dental field for over fifteen years. I graduated on the Presidents Honor Roll from Remington College as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2005, then later continued my education at Remington to become a dental hygienist, graduating in 2018.
I attended Missouri College for my dental assisting program, and graduated with Honors. I have been in the dental field for a little over six years. After experiencing both chairside assisting and working the front office, I found that I had more interest in working in the front office.

I had the best experience today. Got a deep cleaning which was so smooth I am not in any major pain. The whole staff is just wonderful!! All get a 10 from me!! Today 11/7/22 everything went very well. The whole staff is so nice and kind to me everytime I come for my appointment. This office gets always.

I wanted to share my story with everyone, about how scared, I was about going to the the dentist. I hadn't been to the dentist in over 17 years, until I couldn't stand it any more. I was blessed to find Florissant Dental Care and Associates. They made me feel so comfortable and I have HBP, which normally puts me in the hospital when visiting the dentist in the past. I am so blessed to have found the greatest dentist office in St. Louis, from my point of view. Thank you so much for giving me a new look on life and great dental care with such great customer service. I never a dentist office would listen to my fears/ concerns and make me feel comfortable about a general surgery and extraction, but they did! Great ! Great ! Great! Customer Service. Everyone there was focused on the patient having a good experience. At the front desk I was greeted by my name and smiles. My dental hygienist was familiar to me and was very personable and sweet. During my teeth cleaning she explained every step. I had a flossing issue with one of my teeth and she tried several things to fix it. Dr. Daugherty checked over my teeth and remediated the problem. She is a great dentist who obviously cares about her patients. I will be recommending this office to anyone I know looking for a dentist.

Who has a good time at the dentist? Me, that's who. When I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly hellos. I was so shocked by the warm welcome, I walked out and came in again just to get that greeting again. The dental hygienist explained everything she was doing and why. Dr. Daugherty has such a warm spirit and you can feel her genuine compassion for her patient's oral health. I'm so glad this is my dental office!

The staff at this office are not only prompt BUT VERY professional. They made sure I understood my dental plan and walked me through several procedures I needed as a result of my lack of dental maintenance. (Totally my fault)
