First initial appointment today and I could have been more satisfied with my service from the office staff, my hygienist, and my provider. From the moment I entered the office to the moment I left, everyone was very attentive and gave me nothing but great service. 5/5

Dr. Kari and Dr. Larry are both fantastic medical professionals. I drive from Key Largo (over an hour) just to see them. They are caring, kind and extremely well educated; they are fantastic.

I'm not sure about the person rating for 1 star (a cleaning usually produces blood when gums are not in best condition), but I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this dental group. My father-in-law practiced dentistry for over 50 years in Miami and when he retired, we went to this group. Drs. Larry and Kari are both dedicated individuals and always want to do what is best for the patient. For example, I had a 40 year old filling in the last molar on the lower jaw that ran through the center of the molar. My father-in-law told me that eventually it would be a problem because that type of molar filling weakens the tooth and the biting pressure on those teeth is in MAJOR pounds per square inch. I was eating cereal and noticed that some of the cereal was particularly crunchy. I cracked almost 1/3 of the tooth! I was afraid that I was going to lose the tooth. I was always told to try and save a natural tooth if possible because as good as crowns and implants are, they can NEVER really replace completely your natural teeth. Dr. Kari worked for almost 2 hours on this tooth and was concerned that part of it had broken at the gum line. I know that a crown MUST reach the gum line so that there is a tight seal to protect the remaining tooth underneath from decay if food should become trapped. Though she was able to make a temporary crown that seated properly, she referred me to the endodontist, Dr. Knaff at the Pinecrest office to decide whether or not I needed a root canal. He was equally impressing and reminded me of my father-in-law. He showed me the 3D scan of my entire mouth and slices of the tooth. He explained that the center of the tooth contains the pulp which MUST be protected by a certain thickness of remaining tooth. There are a number of other factors involved in making a recommendation as well. In then end, I asked him how he would advise me if I were a relative. He COULD have turned around and recommended a root canal which would have made the practice a nice profit. He DIDN'T. He said that everything looked stable, and that I should go ahead with the permanent crown and IF, in the future, there are problems with pain, sensitivity, etc., I can always have the root canal then. The office staff is TOPS! They are cordial, professional, and very much on top of billing, scheduling, and the other inner workings of the office. The facilities are spotless, and there is every possible measure to ensure patient safety as far as cleaning equipment, washing hands, masks, etc. I can't say enough good things about this dental practice. They accept a variety of insurance plans, and also have options for financing if the bill gets too high. I know that I sound like a commercial for them, but I was NOT paid, reimbursed, or even asked to do this review. Jeffrey S. Kendall, FL
