Dr. Schnur was always interested in science and medicine and chose to pursue dentistry because there was more opportunity to provide patient-centered private-practice care without as much influence from large hospitals or insurance corporations. Dr. Schnur earned his DMD at the University of Florida and completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Gainesville. He also holds a State of Florida Sedation certificate. Dr. Schnur is very active with local dental study groups, numerous hours of continuing education, and is continually adding the newest technology to his practice.

Eileen grew up in Seminole and moved to Parrish in 1998, graduating from Manatee Technical Institute with her Dental Assistant credentials. Her favorite part of her job is being chairside to make patients feel special, which she feels is very rewarding; she loves the variety of each day, every patient, and every case.
Erin was born and raised in Palmetto in Manatee County. She graduated from St. Petersburg College with an Associates degree in Dental Hygiene. Erin enjoys getting to know all of her patients and educating them on keeping their mouths as healthy as possible.
Erin has a bonus daughter who is 9 and a two-year-old daughter with husband Steven, whom she married in 2015. The family enjoys spending time together outdoors looking for new adventures and taking advantage of their annual Disney passes. Erins family also includes two dogs, a Boston terrier and a pit bull.
Jacy is a native of Sarasota. She graduated from Manatee Technical Institute with certifications in Dental Assisting and Radiology. Jacy is also pursuing continuing studies through Spear Education, annual OSHA training, and stays current on CPR and first aid training. Jacys favorite part of her job is building patient relationshipsgetting to know each patient and their stories and helping them with their dental care needs and any obstacles they face, from fear and anxiety to financial concerns. Jacy says: Its very rewarding to see their smiles and know they trust you and that you made a difference in their life.
Ayla completed undergraduate work at St. Josephs College of Maine, earning a Biology/Pre-Dental Studies degree with a Chemistry minor. She received her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and State of Florida Radiography Licensure from the Academy of Dental Assistants in St. Petersburg in 2017. Ayla is currently pursuing an Associates degree in dental hygiene at the State College of Florida.
Aylas favorite part of her job is helping all different kinds of people achieve their overall oral health goals with Dr. Schnur and the wonderful Florida Smile Design team. She says, The patients are so kind and appreciative of what we do. Whether it is a full smile makeover or getting a patient out of pain from a toothache, this career field is very rewarding as you can see the immediate effects of your hard work right away.
Ayla grew up in Standish, Maine, in a family of five that included sisters Kyaunna and Gia; the family relocated to Florida in 2016 after she completed her undergraduate degree. Ayla and her fiance, Andrew, currently reside in Ellenton. In their spare time, they enjoy playing music together and spending time with their cat Baxter and dog Bailey.
Our relaxed, low-key atmosphere helps patients feel comfortable. We strive to have some fun while creating a space where our patients feel safe and where their dental needs are cared for without judgment.

All safety precautions were taken and everything was very clean. They really care about their patients and make sure all your needs are meant. They always give you complete information on every procedure they will be doing. The entire staff is very friendly and professional.

Dr. Schnur and Eileen were wonderful in my tooth removal. What more can you ask for but a pain free tooth removal. Definitely a 5 ****^ rating. Thanks folks for a great visit. And my visit was started by being greeted with a smiling hello by receptionist Debbie. Debbie always makes you feel welcome.

Dr. Schnur and team constructed a great upper appliance built on new implants. It has proven to be very solid, easy to maintain, and great looking. Dr. and team are also a super choice for everyday and maintenance dentistry. Dr. Schnur worked very closely with my implant surgeon, helping to make the best possible use of each implant...and a great smile.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Both my husband and I are Patients. We have had many procedures performed on our teeth. We've had fillings, crowns and extractions. My husband has mobility issues and they are very helpful in getting him in and out of the chair and to our car. He also has major anxiety so they prescribe medication for him to take to relax him during his procedures. He had a few hours all at once and NEVER had a problem. Their staff and dental assistants along with Dr Schnur (he has a very relaxing personality)are very pleasant and professional. I can also add the their office is VERY sanitary. They take every precaution to make sure EVERYTHING is sanitized as they use their instruments.

Smile Design makes me smile. I retired 6 years ago from NYC. I changed dentists 3 times until I found Dr. Schnur. He is the best and Aniko is an excellent hygienist. Debbie at the front desk is friendly and smart. I highly recommend them all.

This was my first visit. (Xrays and exam assessment) I am looking for "my dentist" here in Parrish, FL after relocating from Maryland. It took awhile to get in, but in April, JC told me to call back in August to set up an appt. I did and it was worth the wait! Very clean, beautiful photographs displayed, everybody was friendly and helpful! I'm sure the cleaning will go well!

Best dentist ever! The staff is amazing!!! They are so kind and professional and It feels like home when going to this office. I was so afraid of going to the dentist in the past, but they make sure your comfortable and always do everything to make sure your experience is pain free. I wish I could give them all more stars.... 5 is not enough!

Love this place and it's the only place that I would go to. Not only are the staff very kind and so nice, but this is the first dentist that does NOT try to upset you extra and unnecessary services. I highly recommend if you want to be treated fairly and with dignity. We travel almost an hour, just cause its worth it.
