Dr. Jennifer Somoray (Nguyen) grew up in Northern Virginia and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Virginia (Wahoowa!). She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, MD. Her desire to help patients with complex treatment needs led her to stay at Maryland to complete the 3-year residency in Prosthodontics. After residency, she took on another year of training to treat patients with cancer through the Maxillofacial Prosthetics Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan. There, she was involved in managing the dental needs for patients with oncologic disease undergoing head and neck surgery, head and neck radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and/or antiresorptive therapies.
Dr. Somoray is married to her high school sweetheart, Pierre. In their free time, Dr. Somoray and her husband enjoy exploring different foods, going to the beach, and spoiling their two cats, Cleo and Cairo.
