I needed to get all of my wisdom teeth extracted and had been putting it off for a few years. Since I'm 34 years old, I was absolutely terrified of the procedure and the recovery. But Dr. Alcalde and his team were AMAZING! They helped me feel calm and at peace about it all. The procedure, which I had done 2 1/2 months ago, was quick with no complications. And my recovery was super smooth with minimal discomfort. I was able to go to a work conference and eat almost normally 10 days later! I'm so glad I went to Dr. Alcalde and will recommend him to others!

Not a gentle surgeon, I am not going back. Refused to take my insurance that covers extraction. Charged me $900 to pull 1 tooth, not good!

Before ever seeing this office I had to call twenty times for the lazy front desk receptionist to pick up the phone to assist me in scheduling, I went for my consultation, and forgot my USB drive with my CBCT scan on it I called to request it to be mailed to me and she told me "we can not do that" although I paid for it from my dentist office and provided it to Dr.Alcalde to be reviewed. I like the doctor but I will NEVER be a patient in this office due to the lack of respect his receptionist holds, and I'm sure he's lost tons of business because of her, not quite sure how she's so okay with knowing how horrible she is. Mind you, they are NOT extremely busy to where she can not answer the phone.

Dr. Alcalde and his team are phenomenal. They make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. They are very thorough and provide you with extensive information. Would recommend this practice to anyone looking to have their wisdom teeth removed.

Wait 24 days to to see just to see the guy, they ssaid yeah we can get you within 2 weeks to extract my tooths, they never call me & even lied about calling me & leaving a voicemail. So I had to call them & guess what they said you need to wait 25 days??? So technically I would have to wait 2 months to get my tooth out?? Common on really? They do not care. They will charge you a lot & make you wait. I would personally go anywhere else, but here, please go to someone else who actually care about your time & would actually appreciate you for having them... judgment day will came & god will sent his angels to smite all that is evil in the world. God knows all

Overall best doctor and staff to get wisdom teeth removed. From all my experiences with siblings, friends, and now my own children, this Dr. Alcade and staff provided the best treatment and the best procedure for removing complicated wisdom teeth. Little to no pain, swelling, and quick recovery. Thank you Dr. Alcade and staff!

Do not go to see these people! They do not care about you as a person!!! I waited 30 days for this appointment and here's how it went They require masks when waiting in the office. Fine. I asked the front desk to call me when they are ready for me and I waited outside in my vehicle so as not to offend anyone. Missy (her name should have been Karen) asked me to put a mask on as soon as I walk in from my car. I complied. Shortly thereafter ( maybe 5 seconds) she asked me to take it off for some X-rays. I chuckled but complied. I was then asked to put it back on to walk from the small room to my patient room. I complied. When in my own room I removed my mask and sat down in the patient chair. She quickly demanded I put on my mask or the doctor would not see me. I did not comply and was thrown out of the facility for this. The doctor was about to come into the room and stick his hands in my mouth....why do I need a mask? I'm really not sure what has gotten into the world. I'm in pain from overcrowding impacted wisdom teeth and this appointment was important to me. But not as important as my rights. I hope you lose your license

I was told at the age of 18 to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed. One of them was impacted. Of course I waited until I was 35. I was sooo worried and nervous about this procedure. Dr. Alcalde has hands of an angel. I had very little swelling on the outside of my face and never needed to use the narcotics I was prescribed, only OTC Tylenol!! I was back on my feet shortly after my surgery. I healed and felt way better than my wife, who had it done about 7 years ago by another surgeon in Bonita. I have been recommending him to anyone I hear needs oral surgery. Thanks Dr. alcalde!!

Dr. Alcalde surgically removed my broken wisdom tooth. Having any dental work usually makes me extremely anxious. Dr. Alcalde's qualifications and experience, his great chair-side manner, his professional team, and clean and modern facilities helped to put me at ease. I also highly valued having a dentist who was able to sedate me. I vaguely remember talking to him when he entered the room before going under. When I regained consciousness, it was time to go home. I appreciated the call I got from his office to check in on me post op. I had very little pain but was sure to follow my post-op recommendations to the letter, and the wound quickly healed without incident. I highly recommend Dr. Alcalde and would seek him out for any needed dental surgery without hesitation.

Dr. Alcalde is the man! I had to have 6 wisdom teeth pulled. I'm one of those unfortunate cases. Put this off for 15 years or so but finally proceeded to get it done when one became infected. I had no pain afterwards believe it or not. Just a little soreness but that subsided quickly. Staff called me the following week to check in on me. My procedure was done on a Friday. All the staff was really pleasant and Dr. Alcalde took time to answer all my questions. Highly recommend Dr. Alcalde for wisdom teeth removal!

Dr. Alcalde was amazing, he pulled all 4 of my wisdom teeth out at once and my face didn't swell, no infection, and was up and going right after with barely any discomfort. I'm typically terrified of going to the dentist, but this was the best experience I've ever had with a dentist! He's extremely personable and his staff was amazing. They even checked in the next day to make sure everything was okay. Would recommend and I don't typically write reviews. I'm actually having my son see him for his wisdom teeth removal!

Wonderful office both the staff the doctor were very nice and helpful. I went to get my wisdom teeth removed and everything went great. I had no swelling and barely any discomfort. They took very good care of me and I'm glad I had my first major procedure with them.

Just called for information. The receptionist was extremely rude. Would not even step foot in that office.
