"You have good teeth...no gum disease." All I would want. Meanwhile, Aspen Dental tried charging me north of $800 for lots of supposed issues they saw. Florida Dental Centers only charged me $79 for the cleaning and said to come back in 6 months, as expected. This will be my dentist location of choice. Affordable without insurance and does not try to scam you. Special thanks to Dr. Janet Devaul, hygienist Kelly, Ms. Veli, and Ms. Blanca for being straightforward, professional and personable.

Absolutely Complete Waste of Time. And do not contact me again about finance options when the payment plan the individual gives over the phone is not available in person. People come for help and all these individuals want is for hurting less fortunate community leaders to come through their doors to look busy and the all mighty dollar while lying to your face in person about their intentions. The next time someone calls for help and emergency record the call to see if it matches what they actually claim to be doing. Florida Dental anything does not care enough if the price is too low. Even the price of you health. Any St. Pete City Community Dental Orgs should ask questions before engaging or review criteria in helping actual St. Pete service workers that give and give.

I had a wonderful and life changing experience with Florida Dental Center in St. Petersburg. The staff was caring, compasionate and extremely personable. Nancy, was one of the best Dental Assistant's I've ever had. The Dentists, Oral Sergeon, front office staff are all amazing. In my opinion, I would recommend anyone to go there that needs true caring dental professionals. If I could rate that office higher than 5 stars, I would give them a BIG 10!

I have been a self pay patient of Fla. Dental for years.Crown work in 2020.My Aetna dental ins. paid their part I paid in full my part.In 2021, I needed a double root canal in same crowned teeth. Florida Dental on 66th St. In St. Pete sent me to their 4th St office for surgery with Dr. Phan. They quoted me what my ins. would pay and I paid my part $1,319.00. IMAGINE my shock and dismay to receive a collection notice from Sherlockq. I called the 4th St office talked to Hilda, who was nice. She explained that this collection notice was for 3 different visits ranging from 2020 and two for 2021.continued

I've been going to this dentist for a few years now and initially started going there because it was very close to home and seemed to be affordably priced. I have continued going to this location specifically even after moving further away because I appreciate the friendly staff and Dr. Duval. Thank you all for being awesome and making my dental visits less stressful :)

I've had a problem with my teeth for most of my adult life due to acid reflux, and I've always been afraid of the dentist. So, when the pain got so bad, I had no choice but to go! I would like to thank the entire staff at Florida Dental Centers for their compassion and caring through the whole process! Thank you to Veli, Denise, Nancy, Nicole, Mariya, Hilda, Dr.Devaul, Maritza, Christine and the oral surgeon Dr.Snyders for everything! They took the fear out of all of it. I would highly recommend Florida Dental Center on 4th street if you are afraid or in pain, and I promise they will take the best care of you! They took good care of me! Mark S.

They still require masks fully 3 months after anywhere else in practically the entire city stopped doing so. What a disgraceful human rights violation. Their office looks dirty, rundown, and unsanitary to me. I would highly recommend going somewhere else.

I was so scared to even call and make an appointment. That's how afraid I was! Everyone was so understanding of my fears.....even through my tears. They took the time to reassure me and walked me through my upcoming extraction. I'm not saying I look forward to going back in 2 days but I will not be as afraid or in tears. Thank you all for your kindness.

Do not go to this office. They tell you that you need treatment that you do not need. I went in for a cleaning and check-up because my prior dentist closed. They wouldn't give me a cleaning on that visit. They told me that i need a deep cleaning which is a painful and an expensive procedure. I get regular cleanings and was never told I have an issue prior to this appointment. I went to another dentist and they said i do not need a deep cleaning. Always get a second opinion.

I was under the assumption that I would pay $80 for a cleaning/X-rays and consultation. I go in and at first before they assumed I had insurance (which I thought I did) they were very pleasant to me. Complimenting me. The second they realize my insurance card didn't go through, that changed. An assistant was snickering and laughing at me and judging my X-rays, making me feel bad about my self even though most humans have issues w their teeth. And once the main older lady dentist saw my X-rays while I was sitting at the chair, the first thing she said was "THATS BAD" while her assistant was laughing. The first thing I said was "thanks for judging me" I do not appreciate the staff here. The only kind soul in that place is Vali. Also they rip people off...completely false advertising and I did not get a cleaning. Do NOT go here. They will make you feel bad and rip you off.

I had a crown installed by a young dentist at the St. Pete location. When filing down the tooth, I was experiencing severe pain and at one point the dentist suggested that I might need a root canal. A minute later she said that she was going to put some medicine and the tooth should be fine. No root canal was needed and she installed a temporary crown. She didn't seem to be quite sure about the root canal therefore I asked her about the warranty of a new crown installation. She said it was 6 months. I paid at my first visit $1,150. I had my permanent crown installed before Christmas 2019 and since then I haven't been able to chew on my right site because of the severe pain that tooth gives me. I thought the pain was going to fade off with time and the tooth becomes less sensitive. I talked to friends (one of them with 9 crowns) and all of them said they felt no difference between teeth with no crown and teeth with crowns. They all said they used them as their own teeth. Well, obviously in my case, the crown installation wasn't successful. Young dentists, fresh dental school graduates (although licensed) lack experience and I guess, she made a wrong decision advising that no root canal was needed in my case. A simple medicine application apparently hasn't been working. I month later, I scheduled an appointment and I was seen by the managing dentist. She referred me to an endodontist for a root canal, which was going to cost me another $1,108. She said he was going to drill down through the crown and after that she would make a filling. A filling on a newly installed crown??? Was she serious??? When I confronted her with the 6 month warranty, telling her that I wanted and I had paid for a new crown, not for a "patched" one, her face became all red of anger and she replied that if I wanted a new crown, I had to pay for it! So, that single tooth crown was going to cost me 1,150 + 1,108 + another 1,150 = $3,408.00 !!! Thank you, but no, thank you! At this point I REALLY lost trust, as I felt strongly, I was seen as a money printing machine, not as a patient she cared for. "Patching" or filling a crown would be acceptable method if we were trying to prolong the useful life of an older crown, NOT a brand new crown I had paid for! Several days later I received a CERTIFIED mail letter signed by Janet DeVaul (managing the St. Pete office) saying "This letter is to inform you that the trust between the doctor and patient has been broken, due to your comments of distrust in our office and doctors as well as stating you do not trust my referral to the endodontist. Therefore, we at FDC will not continue to treat you any further at any location." LOL, the trust has been broken and I never thought of going back to a place of business that doesn't stand behind their work. Would you go to a hairdresser, who doesn't style your hair good or to a restaurant with bad food? With the hairdresser, at stake is your hair. In my case, at stake is my dental health, which is way more important and way more expensive!!! Dear Janet DeVaul, please keep your letter for yourself as a reminder of the poor job you have done. I'll keep the bill and the pain I'm experiencing every day with every meal. I will have that crown removed anyway, root canal done and a new crown installed properly with another dental office as soon as I can. And...it is not going to be a "patched" crown, for sure. UPDATE: A couple of hours after posting my review, I received one of those copy-pasted responses that apparently all unhappy clients/patients receive, saying that FDC is taking customer feedback seriously and I should call them to discuss further. No, sorry! If you guys really took customers feedback seriously, you have all my information on file, including phone number, email and my address (you've sent your letter to), and you guys would be the one contacting me. I have no reason to call or visit any of your locations. Thanks!
