Dr. Kim Elvington is a native of Bennettsville, South Carolina and graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina in 1999. She obtained a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2003. Dr. Elvington then continued her training at MUSC, where she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and then a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry. In 2006, she moved back to the Pee Dee and began practicing dentistry locally. In August 2010, she and her husband Brice opened Florence Pediatric Dentistry together. Dr. Elvington is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and also provides dental services for children at McLeod Regional Medical Center and Carolinas Hospital.
Dr. Elvington is an active member of Central United Methodist Church and has been involved in local community organizations, including the Junior League of Florence and The Children 's Museum of the Pee Dee. One of her favorite Bible verses is Colossians 3:23, 'Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.' She loves spending time with her husband and young children, Hampton, Katie Brice, and Bowen.

She loves spending time with her husband and young children, Hampton, Katie Brice, Bowen, and Huntley. She also enjoys being outdoors, reading, and cooking.

Florence Pediatric Dentistry is GREAT! Everyone does a fantastic job with our son. They are attentive and keep him completely at ease while cleaning his teeth. The entire staff does a wonderful job and I am very grateful for all Dr. Elvington has done for DD. Thanks!

Florence Pediatric Dentistry with Dr. Elvington and her staff are by far the BEST! My first experience with them were very pleasant and professional, which is way more than I can say for a previous pediatric dental provider which will remain nameless (located on Hoffmeyer ;) Anyway, Dr.Elvington and her staff are very professional and proficient in working with all types of children from different backgrounds. Not to mention, are unbiased and very knowledgeable. You definitely will NOT be disappointed with this practice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Florence Pediatric Dentistry for any parent who wants their child to have a fun and informative experience without judgement!

Absolutely wonderful atmosphere, caring and knowledgeable nurses, and passionate doctor. Everything is completely centered around the children and making them feel comfortable and confident about caring for their teeth. My children absolutely love going to the dentist and look forward to every appointment.

It was great! It was my son's first cleaning. The hygienist was so patient. She explained exactly what she was going to do, showed him each piece of equipment, demonstrated it, etc. I was so impressed by how much patience she had and how well she did with my three year old!

My son has known only this wonderful staff for all his dental needs. From his first visit he has loved Dr. Elvington and the staff. They have treated him with kindness and skill. I have been very happy with his treatment and the exceptional quality of care. My only sadness is that he will soon 'age out' of Florence Pediatric Dentistry!

I'm extremely happy with Dr. Elvington and the whole team at Florence Pediatric Dentistry. They are so professional and friendly. They really care about their patients. My children just became new patients, but from the first appointment we were treated as if we were family. The office is one of the cleanest offices I've visited in Florence. My children look forward to returning for their next appointments.

The staff here was absolutely wonderful, my son was very nervous about going to the dentist but Tina was a God send and had my son giggling and engaged the whole visit. The staff explained everything thoroughly to me and made the experience very pleasant for my kids, would definitely recommend!!

Each visit has been a pleasant experience. From signing in to checking out the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. They make the children's experience less frightening. If there are any abnormal findings Dr. Elvington is very honest with you and doesn't force procedures on you. You are given information upfront regarding procedures and what they could cost (Insurance coverage and out of pocket expenses). I can't say enough about them. I highly recommend!!!
