Dr. Ben grew up in West Los Angeles and attended University High School. He then graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. For his Doctorate he was admitted to the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California, the only 3 year Dental School in the nation. There he excelled at all aspects of dentistry including Prevention, Endodontics (Root canals), Removable Prosthetics (Dentures), Cosmetic, Operative (Fillings), Fixed Prosthodontics (Crown and Bridge), Implant Dentistry, and Preventative Dentistry. After graduating with his DDS, he completed an additional 1 year post doctorate program in General Dentistry at the world renowned Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center. There he expanded on his experience and skills working with some of the most compromised patients ranging from those with severe cancers, the developmentally disabled, patients bedside, and in some cases in the operating room with patients under general anesthesia. During that time Dr. Ben also spent 6 months at the Veterans Administration Ambulatory Care center in Downtown LA with special rotations at the West LA VA treating veterans.

Impeccable!! I am thrilled to find this dentist!!! My story: the day before lockdown my front tooth implant broke off. Yep. It wasn't an emergency so that left me with going to one of those companies that make those removable trays. That's another story but it worked in a pinch. But a year later, after seeing dentists and getting opinions, I realized dental health is a collaboration of trust between you and that dentist. Ethics becomes super important. I found Florence Family by last resort on a Google search. I called with pain in that tooth. A year later the cavity was deep. I got a same day appointment. The receptionist is lovely. Literally everyone is just like family and you notice that right away. I was taken care of to say the least. The dentists are brother and sister. She was so sweet, caring, a genuinely good person. I have never had a pleasant experience at the dentist. I can't believe I feel like this!! Highly recommended! I can literally SMILE again!!!! Thank you Florence Family!

Look no further! Dr. Ben and the ENTIRE staff are amazing to say the least. I went in today for the first time for an exam and to get a couple of teeth extracted and from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out, I had the best experience at any dental office ever. They are very knowledgeable, professional and I was out within great time. Thank you all so much for making my experience excellent!

The new staff and the doctor excellent very professional , friendly the lady who took my xrays very good and the ladys front desk very friendly make me feel welcome thank you the doctor explained to me about my cleaning my teeth very good costumer service and the price good ... I will come back with my husband and son

I have gone through years of pain because I couldn't find a dentistry office who worked in my budget but I found Florence Family and they are just the best!!! They are compassionate and understanding to your financial situation and work amazingly with your medi-cal. This place is perfect for someone who cannot find a reasonably priced dentist and is struggling to get an appointment. They do great accommodations and will never make you wait more than a week for an appointment. Just amazing!!!
