Dr. Ben Falk provides both implant placement and restoration. We specialize in the placement of the latest Biomet 3i and Nobel Biocare implants and CAD/CAM abutment technology. If you've lost a tooth due to injury, decay, gum disease, or any other reason, we recommend dental implants to replace missing teeth. Dental implants come the closest to replicating the look, feel, and function of your natural teeth.
Dental implants are placed into the jawbone and mirror the same function as the root of a tooth. The procedure for dental implants is usually performed while a patient is sedated. Patients who undergo IV sedation must have an empty stomach and transportation home following the procedure. Most sedation patients will have little to no memory of the procedure occurring.
Generally, dental implants are made out of a biocompatible metal such as titanium. Biocompatible metals are also used for other common bone implants (such as shoulder, hip, and knee replacements). The visible portion of the implant is usually made out of porcelain and is custom-made to match your existing teeth.
Dental implants are designed to fuse to the bone, which makes them become permanent fixtures. Typically speaking, the success rate is nearly 100%. There are few cases in which the implant will not fuse as intended and must be removed. If this happens to occur, the procedure can be attempted again a few months later.
Dental implants are not usually covered by dental insurance, but may be covered under a patient's medical insurance. The office of Florence Dental Care and your insurance company can discuss coverage options with you based on your individual case and treatment plan.

I had a new crown placed over a new root canal. I was a nervous wreck, but Dr Ben and assistant Dee did everything to alleviate my angst. Great Dr and wonderful staff 5 stars to Lisa at the front desk as well. Thank you all so much

This place provides excellent dental care. I had a filling done by Dr. Falk with little to no discomfort during and even the next day. The entire process was explained to me start to finish and AS it was happening. The hygienists are all great, and the front desk is very helpful. I highly recommend their services!

I have always had excellent care of my "senior" teeth with Dr. Stevens! He is genius/wizard with his brain and his hands! If only it weren't so expensive! The desk staff and hygienists are very friendly and make you feel So comfortable! For the walking impaired, they accompany you in a elevator like chair up to the second floor and don,t make you feel like they are going out of their way (even though they are!) Must call them soon! It's that time again!

They may be "nice" and people like them because they're "good with kids," but that doesn't do any good if they're clinically deficient and in my opinion they are. Anything at all complex and they simply have no idea what they're doing. They cause a medical problem and then when confronted advise you to go somewhere else if you're unhappy. Good advice. Do go somewhere else. I highly advise avoiding them and looking elsewhere for care. I wouldn't take my dog there

The dental hygienists I have met for cleanings have been outstanding and created the most comfortable experiences I've had on my dental hygiene journey! All interactions with staff throughout the process has consistently been helpful, welcoming, and kind. This past visit I was explained with my tooth chart how and why flossing is so important, along with the measuring process used to assess gum health. It was awesome! This place definitely helps make going to the dentist less scary. Very much appreciated and I would highly recommend.

Had a root canal with Dr. Gibilisco a year ago and cannot floss without excruciating pain in the tooth he worked on. He made a mistake when packing the tooth and told me everything should be fine it was so minor... ~1 year later I now need retreatment of that tooth! My advice? Stay VERY far away!!

I just had a dental emergency with part of a filled tooth breaking off. I called Florence Dental's answering service on a Sunday. The very next morning (Monday) as promised I was called by their office. After mentioning I could make an appointment on Friday without missing time from work, I was scheduled for an AM appointment. The staff from the receptionist to Dr. Ben Falk and his assistant Dee were super nice making my visit as pleasant as possible. I never felt any pain whatsoever and, through the whole process, Dr Ben talked to me telling me where we were in the process as well as assuring me I was "doing fine". I would highly recommend Florence Dental to anyone who has trepidation about getting dental care. These people are great at what they do and, really care about their patients comfort in addition to their well being.
