Dr. Frerich graduated from the University of Minnesota and served in the United States Air Force while completing his dental residency. He practiced in Marshall, MN for more than 30 years and established a tradition of dental excellence, comfort and care in that time. Dr. Frerich has worked as a dental consultant and has mentored many dentists in sedation and implant dentistry.
Dr. Frerich continually seeks training and education for himself and his team on the latest dental procedures and techniques. He has advanced training in sedation dentistry, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, infection control, dental implants, TMD therapy, and the use of Botox and dermal fillers to improve your smile and give you the results you desire.
Choosing a dentist can be a difficult decision. How I do dentistry was heavily influenced by a long-time mentor of mine, Dr. Peter K. Dawson, who told me: Aim to be in the top 10% of your profession; always do the right thing for every person, and treat every person as a child of God. These words have remained with me throughout my career and are the foundation on which I have built and maintain my practice. Excellence, longevity, personalized care, treating patients as if they were my family; these are why I do what I do, and why I love what I do.
Our office proudly utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and adheres to a standard of excellence in personalized dental care. This enables us to provide the quality dental services our patients deserve.
Additionally, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

This is the most thorough visit I've ever had at a dentist.They took a pic of each tooth! Great experienced staff and squeaky clean office; well kept inside and out.

During 1st visit, staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Dr. is down to earth and makes me feel completely comfortable in his skill and ability. He's been doing this many years and I trust that I have just found my new dentist!!

The staff at Florala Family Dentistry are awesome! Dr. John was able to save my husband's molar when another dentist wanted him to go to an oral surgeon to have it surgically removed. Krystal is an outstanding hygienist!! She is very gentle and thorough! Kristie's kindness and smile was infectious as I was paying and setting up our next appointments. We will definitely make the drive from Montgomery to Florala to go to the dentist!! Wonderful overall experience!! 5 plus stars!!

Was new to Florida and looking for dentist, made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I wouldn't be saying anything if I had had a touch of pain, None whatsoever. My new place and everyone should try them you won't go back to anyone else.

Dr. John not only took care of my immediate problem but capped my front teeth that had been chipped for over 50 years. My wife was so pleased she wants to take a whole new set of family portraits!

Never in my lifetime have I met a dentist who took the time, acted compassionately and patiently answered questions as Dr. Frerich. His staff from the front office to his assistants were just as helpful and kind. Highly recommend.

Was recommended to me by my co-worker. I wish I would've just gone here first before going to another dentist in Crestview. I literally had the best experience at Florala. Every member of this staff treated me with respect and patience. I work myself up before going to the dentist because I hate everything about it. But this staff and Dr. John really turned that around. Plus, it's affordable (I don't have insurance). I am so grateful I found this gem. I live in Holt but I would drive even further just to go back. I'm not just saying that either. Gotta give credit where credit is due. I will not use another dentist if I can help it. Highly recommended.

Florala Family Dental Care Dr. John and friendly staff supplied the best dental care I've ever had. Dr. John saved a tooth I thought had to be pulled. He has the latest 3D x-ray technology and strives to minimize any pain. He keeps you informed as to what he is doing. I was very very impressed with his dental skills, a first for me.
