The doctor understands you might be anxious about the process of receiving dental care; therefore, he makes it a point to carefully explain your proposed treatment plan and unhurriedly answer all your questions.
Only then will he take you gently through your treatment. Modern dentistry has many techniques, local anesthetics, and relaxation methods to increase your comfort. The more involved you are in making your dental health decisions, the less room there is for fear and uncertainty.

Dr. Rojin Erfan, Endodontist, was magnificent! She is such a detailed and knowledgeable doctor. The root canal procedure went so smoothly and quickly! Throughout the surgical process, she communicated to me what she was doing as she worked. Measures were taken to use innovative techniques to maximize my comfort and expedite cutting-edge procedures. I call Flintridge Dental Studio doctors the "Dream Team". From check-in until finish, the total staff at Flintridge Dental are absolutely magnificent! They are the best dental team I have ever experienced!

I have been a patient of Dr. Derhartounian since 2004. When he moved to this current location I continued to see him even though it is much farther from my home. His expertise and skill are well worth the drive. His entire staff from receptionists to dental assistants and technicians are very welcoming and highly professional. He also has an exceptional endodontist, Dr. Erfan, who works with him. I have had many procedures done over the years and always with a successful outcome. I believe my dental hygiene is better now than when we started together due to his expert care. I trust Dr. Derhartounian completely and could not recommend him more highly!

Staff is very courteous and friendly. This was my first visit and I was treated very well. My first exam was explained very clearly and everyone is very helpful. I made my future appointments with them as well. Nice, clean environment, location is great!

I am so glad that I went here for my crown replacement. The staff here really went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the final result. It's not easy to get a perfect color match for a single front tooth, and they were very understanding and patient with me each time I expressed that I wasn't completely satisfied with the shade (we sent the crown back to the lab 4 times!). I was feeling bad about being so picky, but they were very honest, understanding, and - most importantly - generous with their time through the whole process. They truly stand by doing what they can to make their patients happy. I especially want to thank Dr. Harmik, James, and Amanda for providing a professional, friendly, and sweet experience. They seriously do a wonderful job here.

I came in for a dental emergency, I was shocked at quickly I was able to schedule and be seen (and have the procedure same day). The staff here are wonderful. They seem to have really good Covid protocol in place, and every room has an air purifier. The first thing that stood out to me was what a clean facility it was. Dr. Derhartounian has really nice bedside manner, he's kind and gentle and made me feel comfortable.

Do you enjoy being sold unnecessary things by a pushy dentist of questionable reputation and his staff? If you do, this dentist is likely for you! You can tell the dental cleaning assistants don't enjoy it, but if their boss tells them they have to do it then what choice do they have? And then when you're done getting your teeth cleaned you can bet that Harmik Derhartounian will be sure to try to scare you into fixing all kinds of issues that you don't really have! He told me I had 4 cavities! I've never had a cavity in my life. Most people unfortunately trust dentists because they are educated professionals. I had my doubts and immediately followed up with another more reputable dentist who confirmed that I don't have a single cavity! Stay far away from this dentist office! It's not a legitimate practice. It's a con artist using his creative talents to extract funds from unsuspecting good people.

Love Flintridge Dental Studio! Been taking my son here and we love it. The staff are super nice and make you feel at home. It's super clean and lovely inside. My son feels super comfortable here. Never changing for another dentist!

Dr and the team are very professional and welcoming when I come in. Dr. Derhartounian was very detailed with the procedure that needed to be done for me. I feel like he knew how scared I was because I had to have two root canals done right away due to my severe pain. I felt so comfortable being there and trusted everything he said. Quality work and experience are two things I greatly value and he definitely proved to have both plus more. Thank you Dr and team for making this process as smooth as possible for me. Once upon a time over ten years ago I was in search of a good dentist. I'd had some bad ones. Dr. Harmik was the only one on my insurance list that had a website. I've been with his dental group ever since. This La Canada office is modern, up to date equipment and treatments. Staff is friendly and professional. Taking care of my mouth is top priority and it does cost money and I've paid tens of thousands. I never feel taken advantage of or swindled. They are kind, honest and very good at what they do! Highly recommend.
