Dr. LaPorte attended Lake Park High School in Roselleand completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Science and Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2008. He then received his Doctorates of Dental Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2012. Since graduating, he has worked as an associate in a private practice in Palatine, IL, while continuing his education with courses in CEREC, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics/Invisalign, Endodontics (Root Canals), Botox and Dermal Fillers.
As an honest and empathetic individual, Dr. LaPorte understands thatmost people do not enjoy going to the dentist and does his best to make it the most positive experience possible. He treats all of his patients as if they were family, recommending the best treatments and limiting any surprises when it comes to your dental care. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, including hockey, martial arts, and weightlifting.
Dr. Prieto from Midland, Michigan. He received his bachelors degree in cellular molecular biology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. From there, he moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and studied at the University of Pennsylvania obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. During that time, he was involved in research related to periodontal disease and implant dentistry, leading to him being published in two journals.
Later Dr. Prieto completed a 3-year specialty training program in prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The training allowed him to treat complex cases involving both restorative and surgical needs. Upon completion, he continued to teach at UIC. Today, he furthers his education by being a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois State Dental Society.
Dr Prieto is passionate about providing the highest quality care for his patients. He understands all patients need are different and enjoys the challenge of developing the best treatment options. His goal is to make every patient feel comfortable during procedures, and to trust that they are receiving the best treatment available.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Prieto enjoys staying active by playing in numerous Chicago soccer leagues and aspires to become involved in coaching. In his spare time, Dr. Prieto taps into his more creative side by creating and mixing various genres of music.

Raj and Dr Laporte have been excellent to work with. I had a deep cleaning today and every single part of the procedure was explained to me clearly. The offices are very clean and bright, and the staff friendly and kind. The cleaning was my first dental procedure in over ten years and I couldn't be happier to have found Flex Dental as my ongoing dental care provider.

Dr Laporte can do root canals or anything you need right in his office. They have all the latest equipment. He is a nice, strong young man with a very good personality. He lets you know what he's doing at all times. My crown was made in 12 minutes and the entire process was under 2 hours.

I've had three root canals over my years, each with a different doctor. This was a HUGE improvement over anything I have ever experienced. It didn't take weeks or days as was my experience, IT TOOK 2 HOURS and I walked out with a root canal and a new crown 100% done. Zero pain during the process and Dr LaPorte explained everything to me as he did it - step by step. The technology he has in that office is truly amazing. Who would have ever thought a visit to the Dentist would be that great.

Dr. A.Laporte is one of the best dentists I have ever had, and the best in the NW suburbs! He's intelligent , friendly, quick, great doc! Can do any kind of dental work superbly without sending you to specialist..He does reg dentistry, root canals with state of the art tools, quick and efficient., crowns done in the office 10 min., and implants...I have all my work done with Dr. Laporte and I'm very happy, satisfied customer! I recommend him to all my friends and my family members !

Nothing better then stepping into a New and clean office. To often I find myself in a old doctors office but not this one. I tried them out with a cleaning and it was a great experience and probably the best cleaning I've ever had. Thank god my old dentist retired so I was able to find Flex dental!

My mom had an infected tooth. The office staff worked very hard to accommodate my mom and gave her an emergency appointment. They were very informative and patient with her. They helped with her insurance information. It was so comforting to have her treated so respectfully.

I've always hated going to the dentist for any procedure. Either it was a lack of information about my procedure or a lack of caring during the procedure. With Anthony I never felt that way. Him and his team are very patient and caring before and during the procedure. Every procedure is explained in detail so there's no surprises and you know what's going on the whole time witch is very helpful and reduces a ton of stress during the process. I would highly recommend Anthony amd his team for any future procedures.

What a wonderful experience with Dr Laporte and his team. I had a broken crown and pressed for time as I am going overseas on my vacation. Dr Laptop came up with a game plan, met my timeline and the outcome was outstanding! I will put my trust with my smile on Flex Dental!!!!!

Love the atmosphere here. Everyone is happy, helpful, supportive & efficient. They naturally prove that going to the Dentist doesn't have to be scary. It shows that they genuinely care about everyone. The place is very clean and they don't over schedule. Great place all around! Wish I found them sooner.
