After graduating from Tulane in 1983 he received his dental degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1987. He was then accepted to a two year hospital based residency where he obtained advanced training in oral surgery, implant dentistry, intravenous sedation, and comprehensive rehabilitation and restorative dentistry.
In 1995 he received advanced surgical implant training through the University of Miami School of Medicine. He continued his implant training by completed the Surgical Program at The Misch International Implant Institute.
He is also certified in a number of new dental technologies, such as Diode Laser for gingival and tissue contouring, Oral Conscious Sedation (Sleep Dentistry), the Cerec 3D CAD-CAM system for in office ceramic restorations and Invisalign orthodontics.
He received acknowledgment for Advanced Education in Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry as well as Functional Anterior Esthetics (Smile Design) through the Hornbrook group at the University of Texas, Houston Dental Branch.
Dr. Aguilar is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Laser Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the New Orleans Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Hispanic Dental Society and he is a Crown Council Dentist.

I've been a customer of Fleur de Lis Dental since 2012. My first visit was unpleasant not due to their service but due to a boating injury I suffered which required major dental repairs. They did a fantastic job and I've been going for regular checkups ever since. Professional staff will assist you if you have any questions.

I was seen as a new patient yesterday and was taken care of like a long time patient. I was experiencing a bit of an emergency, and they got me in and fixed me up good as new. I am so thankful that I finally made an appointment to get my teeth taken care of.

Im a dentist-phobe and was nervous about going to a new place. The office was nice and the staff was very friendly. The hygienist did an amazing job and the equipment was really modern, made the whole process much better than I anticipated. I dont have anxiety about going back regularly! Dr. Celino was the third dentist in the city for me to tackle where all others failed. He succeeded and gave me beautiful crowns. He seeks to please his patients and to provide perfection in cosmetic dentistry. I would very highly recommend him and anyone at Fleur de Lis!
