This place is a joke. They use Heard and Heard name to lure their patients in to get business under Flat shoals dental. They still have two people that still people that still work there that use to work with Heard and Heard that will throw you off like it is still under the original name.They are scrambling for money so they would over charge you for something your insurance already paid. Once you get in the back it's a sign of emptiness, not TV playing, no pictures on the wall. These folks are so darn cheap they don't have any mouthwash they would kindly hand you some peroxide and water in a cup and tell you to gargle. I wouldn't recommend these folks to the homeless

This place is horrible and very unprofessional. The dental team walks around with the same gloves on never changing them. Everyone seems to not know what they are doing half of the time asking if they are doing things right or not. The doctor mr. Patel is extremely rude he had a attitude about the questions i asked when I didn't understand terms he used (Because I'm not a dentist) he also was very rushy and had the same amount of disrespect towards his employees. Dr. Patel Also likes to roll his eyes not only at his own staff when they talk to him but also his patients which i found to be very shocking. There are better places to get better service from then this place my whole experience was uncomfortable and awkward. This place stinks!! Only because of the people there honestly. not to be rude but truthfully.

When they changed over from Heard and Heard dental, I was never notified. I did not like the attitude of the tech. She was a total turn off. I had a tooth filled which not last a month. When I chose a new dental company, they had to redo my filling.

If I could give zero stars I would. I've gone to Heard & Heard Dental my entire life, and didn't get any notification it would be changing to Flat Shoals Dental. The prices are significantly higher, and the employees clearly don't know what they're doing. After a regular cleaning, my hygienist told me I would need to have it redone because there was something wrong with it. I go to the filling appointment and all of a sudden they say I actually need a root canal. They tell me the procedure will be around $3000. You've got to be kidding me. Please don't go here. I probably would have been able to save a lot of money if they actually saw my filling had an issue earlier.

When Heard and Heard Dental changed to Flat Shoals Dental, and Dr. Heard was no longer there. I decided to find a new Dentist, and I am glad I did.

Awful!!! The person at front desk has 0 personality... mean spirit... cold spirit/ the so-called dentist seems to guess at what to do... " His lie is to let me open your tooth to see what inside then I'll tell you"! I brought X-rays and they still took more... stay away, people!!!

I had the worst experience here today, I am done!!!! I've been going to this dentist office for close to 10 years. While it was under Heard everything was lovely , but since he has retired it is not even comparable. First the male receptionist has 0 customer service skills. I've been getting my teeth cleaned every 6 months since I was a child and I've never had a cleaning hurt the way my cleaning hurt today. Do not recommend. I will not be returning and if you are swayed....please take this as a sign.

When I went for my son's and my bi-annual appointment. I never received a confirmation or reminder for my appointment until the day of. Our service was good but the hygienist who serviced me was extremely talkative which I appreciate the friendliness but he almost talked non stop the entire visit. The hygienist who serviced my son offered preventative services for his adult teeth and did not share that he had cavities that would need to be filled until after his visit was complete. As a result they exhausted his dental benefits on a procedure that could've waited. When I complained about this to Ron at the front desk, he tried to justify this action. Then proceeded to talk to me as if I couldn't afford to cover my son's dental care. And now you want to charge me about $700 for his fillings?! This is unacceptable and instead of giving me a choice she used trickery. I asked what the implications were of the shield and she said "nothing but it's covered by your insurance". Meanwhile his necessities will not be.
