Dr. Mahar graduated fromGreenvilleHigh School in 1995, from the University of Michigan in 1999 and from the University of Michigan Dental School in 2003. She enjoyspracticing all aspects of general dentistry, with a special emphasis on cosmetic dentistry as well as working with kids. She values most the close, personal relationships she has with our dental family. She feelsprivileged to practice alongside her father in a community that has been so supportive all these years. Dr. Mahar is a member of the West Michigan District Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association and American Dental Association. She has served onthe West Michigan Dental Peer Review Committee, the West Michigan District Dental Foundation and currently serves on the West Michigan District DentalSociety Board as the Montcalm/ IoniaCounty rep. When she is not in the office craftingbeautiful smiles, you will find her cheering herthree boys Max, Connor and Reid on fromthe sidelines of various sports or enjoying some downtime while traveling.

Dr. Faber graduated fromGreenvilleHigh Schoolin 1965, fromMichiganStateUniversityin 1969 and from University of Michigan Dental School in 1973. After practicing children's dentistry for two years inSwitzerland, he returned toGreenvillein 1975. In 1984 and 1985, Dr. Faber received extensive training in oral surgery & orthodontics and has added a large orthodontic component to his general practice. He has three grown children, 11 grandsons and resides in Crystalwith his wife, Celeste. He is a member of the First Congregational Church, Boy Scouts Century Club, and past president of the Danish Festival. When practice demands are not too great, he enjoys traveling to skiing and wind surfing destinations.

Dr. Zandstra graduated from Hope College with a Bachelors in Chemistry. She then attended University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and graduated Cum Laude in 2016. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Zandstra moved to West Michigan to work with Cherry Health and be near family. In her free time, Dr. Zandstra can be found riding her horse or enjoying time with her husband and family. Dr. Zandstra is a member of the West Michigan District Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association and American Dental Association. She is excited to help you reach your healthy smile goals and establish relationships with all our dental family.

I have been with the Flat River team since 2001. I enjoy helping others and getting to know our patient families. I am married to Chad and we have two girls, Kalika and Kiara. On the weekends, I enjoy watching my husband race at Crystal Motor Speedway. You will also find me on the basketball sidelines, cheering on Kiara at Adrian college. I also enjoy traveling whenever possible and trying new food.

I am the newest member to join the FRFD team! I am excited to meet all of the patients and their families as well as continue to develop my dental knowledge. I am a long time Greenville area resident and volunteer for the Greenville Rocket Cheerleading program. I enjoy watching the girls grow each year. I am married and have three children. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling (cruising) with an Ocra whale watch being #1 on my bucket list.

I joined the Flat River team in 2010 as a chairside dental assistant. I continued my dental assistant training and received my Registered Dental Assistant license in 2015. I have apassion for all things dental! Fun Fact: Dr. Faber has beenkeeping my teeth healthy since birth. I married my high school sweetheart in 2012 and we have two children. I love camping with my family during the awesome Michigan summers.

Ijoined the FRFD team in 2020. I grew up in Belding and am married with two children. I previously worked in the dental field 12 years ago then went to the medical field but my love of dentistry and the family atmosphere in the dental office brought me back. In my spare time I enjoy traveling with my family and attending sporting events for my kids.

I joined the FRFD team in 2021. I graduated from Greenville High School and attended Montcalm Community College to get my Associates degree. I also obtained my CDA (certified dental assistant) certificate. My passion for dentistry started at a young age. I plan on continuing my education and becoming a dental hygienist in the near future. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.

I joined the Flat River Family Dentistry team in 2021. I graduated from CMU with a degree in food service management. I worked in that industry for years until I had children. I have found that the skills that I learned there carried over into the field of dentistry. I have a passion for learning new things and for my family. I am looking forward to expanding my dental knowledge in the future. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy running and riding my Peloton.

I started in the dental field in 2003 as a dental assistant. During that time, I gained a passion for dentistry and decided to continue my education. I graduated from Grand Rapids Community College in 2011 with an Associates degree in Applied Arts and Sciences. I then became licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist, certified in Administering Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide. I came back home to FRFD in 2015 and enjoy serving my community, family and friends. I serve on the Health Careers Advisory Committee for Kent Career Technical Centers, and the Health Service Advisory Committee for 8 Cap in Gratiot, Ionia, Isabella, and Montcalm Counties. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy reading, being outside, and traveling.

I received my dental hygiene license from Lansing Community College in 2006. I am certified in Administering Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide.I joined the FRFD team in 2016. I have a passion for healthy mouths! I am married and have two wonderful kids. I enjoy spending time with family & friends, hunting and riding my horses.

I joined the FRFD team in 2020. I started my career in dentistry in 2004 as a Registered Dental Assistant. I then continued my education and received my license in 2011 as a Registered Dental Hygienist, certified in Administration of Local Anesthesia & Nitrous Oxide.
