Dr. Bonebreak attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where he obtained a degree in biology. He graduated a year early withmagna cum laudedistinction. Dr. Bonebreak obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. He completed dental school with magna cum laudehonors and was active in NIH-funded research studying the role of estrogen in the inflammatory response.
Dr. Bonebreak completed a residency in orthodontics in Fort Lauderdale, at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, and received a specialty certificate in orthodontics. While in Ft. Lauderdale, Dr. Bonebreak also obtained a Master of Science.
He is an active member of many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and theMaryland State Dental Association. Dr. Bonebreak currently serves as the president of the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists.
Only one in three orthodontists is board certified. A board-certified orthodontist is an orthodontist who has voluntarily gone through hundreds of additional hours of preparation to demonstrate their judgment, skills, and knowledge required for providing the highest level of patient care. They have achieved board certification through the American Board of Orthodontics, the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and in affiliation with the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Bonebreak remains at the forefront of orthodontics through attendance at continuing education courses throughout the nation which focuson orthodontic techniques and evidence-based research in the field. He believes it is imperative to remain a student of the profession, because the field of orthodontics is dynamic and frequently changes to the benefit of the patient.
In his leisure time, Dr. Bonebreak enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing pick-up basketball, weightlifting, and traveling. He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys supporting the Terps.

Ive been active in the dental field since 2003, first as an orthodontic treatment coordinator and now as an office manager, and have attended many continuing education courses in orthodontics throughout my career. At Flagship Orthodontics, I take care of everything from scheduling to finances, but most importantly, I make sure the office is ready for patients every day.

What can I say about Dr. Bone break and the team at Flagship other than they're amazing and helped me fulfill a lifelong childhood dream of mine and got me the smile I wanted. I had two teeth that never grew in and he came up with an excellent plan for the spacing of the area, giving me false teeth on the wire of my braces to have confidence be be able to walk around and smile until the plan was completed. You're all amazing and thank you from the bottom of my heart. I miss seeing y'all! Continue to be great in everything!

My special needs child has been going there since 7 or 8. His orthodontic work was done in two parts because he's still growing. The early work greatly improved his self-esteem and confidence. I greatly appreciated that there were options to start his work and correct some of his issues. The practice has the latest technology. No plaster in the mouth for molds. Dr. Bonebreak is patient, informed, and has a great bedside manner. I felt safe at the height of the pandemic because of the protocols they have in place. Dr. Bonebreak was also great when my son lost a permanent tooth biking. He provided us a great temporary option until he's old enough for a permanent implant. The options he gave us greatly served my family and helped with my son's confidence and self-esteem again. Great multicultural staff, which is something I value as a Black woman.

Dr. Bonebreak at Flagship Orthodontics is truly exceptional. He has treated both of our daughters with braces and now retainers. We went to him when they were too young and not ready for braces, and instead of doing what other practitioners do and selling us "two phases" of braces, he had us wait several months until each child was ready. He is kind, proficient, and effective. If I ever call with an urgent matter, he answers the phone or calls me back personally. The nurses and receptionists are also kind and skilled. I can't say enough good things about this practice and I highly recommend it.

Best experience! Flagship Orthodontics is everything you could dream of in ortho care. The office is very clean! The staff is super friendly and makes you feel special as they know patients by name! It is refreshing being greeted by name and receiving excellent service!! I love Dr. Bonebreak and his staff so much that I've referred some friends here. I know they'll enjoy their experience as much as I did!

I don't know what I'm going to do when my visits come to an end with this office. Jacie (sp) at the front desk knows me on the phone and when I walk n the door...even with a mask! The staff is and always has been amazing. It's been a journey and they have always been helpful and accommodating to me and my schedule changes. Never any surprises. Whatever I was told by Dr Dave is what happened. I'm amazed at my changes all the time. My favorite office EVER! If you need an orthodontist please try this office. No disappointments!! I promise.

This review is based on my consultation with Dr.Bonebreak. I will try to be as fair as possible. It is my opinion that this dentist is particular about who he wants as a customer. I came in for Invisalign. I do not have a complicated case, just some spacing here and there because I never wore my retainers (had braces a few years back). Dr. Bonebreak decides to tell me that he could only close about 50% of the space between my teeth. He talked down his skillset and almost flat-out suggested I go to another orthodontist. It was clear to me that he did not want me as a customer. Why that is, I have some ideas, but it all boils down to the judgmental society that we live in. Luckily for me, I don't get easily offended. I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

The next best thing to having an Orthodontist in the family! The service and attention received at every visit is beyond exceptional! From the reception at the entrance to the personal care from Dr. Bonebreak is nothing less than professionalism. All staff are knowledgeable and genuinely care. The atmosphere is unlike an office environment but rather family feel oriented!

We have taken both our kids to Flagship Orthodontics and have been extremely pleased with the orthodontic care received and the customer service. They are timely, responsive, clean, and all around a very friendly team. Dr. Bonebreak makes a point of coming out after the appointment to explain what will be done and what is to come during the next appointment. We would not go anywhere else!
