Dr. Paley graduated from New York University Dental School with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery on a full academic scholarship. He performed his orthodontic training at the Montefiore Medical Center, a division of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has been practicing orthodontics for over 16 years, 13 of them here in the Five Towns. He is a frequent lecturer, nationally and overseas, and is the author of numerous articles that have been published in orthodontic journals and periodicals.
As a member of the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, Dr. Paley participates in advanced training to better understand and care for bite and TMJ problems, interdisciplinary care, and foundational treatment. He also takes part in local study club meetings to keep abreast of the latest technology and advancements in dental and orthodontic research.
Dr. Paley is also an accomplished professional singer and cantor, who in his spare time enjoys composing music and playing piano. Among his other interests are photography, skiing, biking, and summer softball. Most of all he delights in his wife, Sarah, and their six children. He looks forward to seeing you in the office!

THANK YOU! for your professionalism, honesty, integrity and a beautiful smile. A few more weeks and we're done:) Dr. Paley has a warmly affectionate personality. I also really like Dr. Vlahos. She answers my gazillion questions so patiently (even draws me pictures to help me understand the artistic science of orthodontics). The team prepped me so well for discomfort that when I didn't feel any, I thought something was wrong. This whole process has been seamless. Dr. Paley found a workaround because I'm allergic to metal. Also, when I "thought," with my naive eye, that the braces were ready to come off, Dr. Paley showed me why a just a little longer would be better. That's what he would recommend for his wife and kids. I really appreciated that and chose to wait it out. I consulted with one other ortho who charged double. He didn't ask about metal allergies, but he did have very fancy furniture in his office, a "concierge" staff and cool pens that he gave out. I'm glad I passed on the non-essentials.

We are just starting treatment at Five Towns Orthodontics but I'm already impressed with the courteous staff, and appreciated how Dr. Paley explained very clearly what needed to be done. We did not feel rushed; I'm feeling like we will be in good hands.

First and foremost I loved every bit of my first experience at 'Five Towns Orthodontics'. Being a new patient I was running late however the receptionist and staff were all understanding. I've had braces for 4 years in the past after I took them off my teeth have shifted due to having a retainer that didn't fit. Dr. Jonathan Paley ensured me that he could fix the problem and gave me three options. Service was quick, followed COVID Guidelines, and their was such an amazing & comfortable environment.
