Dr. Fitzsimons graduated from Fordham University in 1987 with B.S. in Chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1991. After holding two positions as an associate, Dr. Fitzsimons opened her own private practice in Maspeth, Queens in November 1994. Dr. Fitzsimons prides herself in embracing the best in dental technology and staying current with the latest dental procedures and techniques. She attends numerous continuing education seminars and symposiums every year. Dr. Fitzsimons is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New York State Dental Association (NYSDA), Queens County Dental Society(QCDS), New York County Dental Society and The Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Fitzsimons is CPR certified and holds certificates in infection control, OSHA compliance and HIPPA compliance. Dr. Fitzsimons is proficient in all phases of general and cosmetic dentistry for the entire family. Additionally, she is certified in Laser Dentistry and is an Invisalign provider with preferred status. Dr. Fitzsimons is married and lives in Maspeth with her husband, Tom,and their four children, Bronwyn, Barry, Brogan and Brendan. She has strong ties to her Irish heritage and is a member of the Longford Association of New York.
Dr. Fitzsimons' daughter, Dr. Bronwyn Hagan, has lived and breathed dentistry since she was a toddler. She graduated from The City College of New York, CUNY with a B.S. in Biology and in Psychology. Dr. Hagan earned her doctorate at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry and pursued an additional year of training in their Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program, where she served as Chief Resident. During her training, Dr. Hagan received national awards for her research in palate development, she volunteered around the world on dental mission trips, and she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Hagan is a member of theAmerican Dental Association(ADA),New York State Dental Association(NYSDA),Queens County Dental Society(QCDS),New York County Dental Society and The Academy of General Dentistry.When not practicing dentistry, she enjoys painting, board games, and karaoke. After her time in the Bay Area, Dr. Hagan is thrilled to have returned to New York with her husband.
Kristen is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She joined our team just after graduating from S.U.N.Y. Farmingdale with a degree in Dental Hygiene in May 2013. She is known for her enthusiasm for oral health and kind and gentle manner. Kristen was born and raised in Maspeth. She loves forming relationships with our patients. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys working out and spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite color is blue, and her favorite food is Italian!
With 31 years of experience in the dental field, Gerry joined our practice in 2018. During this time, she has worked in all areas of the dental office, making her the perfect team member to guide our patients through their care. She has one child who graduated from University of California Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in zoology and is currently working towards becoming a veterinarian. During her spare time, Gerry enjoys making crafts and spending time with her family and friends!
Regina is one of our dental assistants here. She was born and raised in Queens, currently living in Middle Village. Regina loves working in the area. She is a big New England Patriots fan, but you may also catch Regina at CitiField! She has been in the dental field for almost two years now, and she loves learning about her patients and their motivation to have healthy mouths.
Nancy is one of our dental assistants here at Fitzsimons & Hagan Dentistry. She was born and raised in Queens, currently residing in Sunnyside. She's been in the dental field for over five years. She is warm, caring, and welcoming to all her patients. She enjoys learning new procedures at work and educating patients on their oral health. During her free time, Nancy likes to try new recipes, enjoy her time with family, and listen to music.
Denise is our Dental Patient Coordinator. Our very own Derry girl from Ireland! She is a detail-oriented individual focused on patient satisfaction, staff empowerment, and practice image. Ensuring patient treatment is fulfilled is one of Denise's many aims so that the dental health of our patients is maintained or improved. Denise has a background in finance, learning development and dentistry software. Like many, she can't start the day without a coffee, loves traveling, and trying out new experiences. So let her know if you have any to recommend!

I've been going to F&H for over a year now and am as pleased with my visits just as much as the first time! I am always seen at the appointed hour, and they take the extra time to review any concerns you have before beginning their work. Everyone is very pleasant here, and I have recommended them various times.

From the minute I walked in I felt comfortable, this is my second time using them and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The office is beautiful and the staff is warm, caring, compassionate and professional. Dr. Hagan explained everything clearly to me and answered all my questions. They make going to the dentist such a positive experience.

Dr. Fitzsimmons & Dr. Hagan's office is always welcoming & professional. It was Dr. Fitzsimon who helped me overcome my fear of dentists after a long time of not having my teeth cared for. The addition of Dr. Haran to the office is a continuation of excellent dental care. I highly recommend this practice for your dental care. Kristen, the hygienist, notice a slight get change, Dr. Hagan checked it & removed it promptly before an abscess formed. Wonderful care all around.

I had my regular cleaning checkup yesterday and Dr. Fitzsimons discovered one small cavity. She was able to fix it on the spot so I wouldn't have to return. I was grateful and the whole experience was painless and comfortable with all the state of the art equipment while enjoying a back massage in the vibrating chair. Its very much appreciated!

I visited this office for the first time on August 8th. I am usually not comfortable going to the dentist but the dentist is amazing and it was pain free. They take time to explain each procedure and what needs to be done. The office is beautiful and the staff is amazing. If you are looking for a new dentist you should make an appointment. You will not be disappointed.

By far the best experience with a dentist I've ever had. Everything there is top of the line as is the for care they put in for their patients. Sitting in a massage chair while getting a thorough cleaning is definitely a nice cherry on top. I don't have insurance so value is very important to me and I feel every dollar I spend here is well worth it. Looking forward to my next visit.

I was hesitant to make an appointment for the dentist during the pandemic. Of course, Dr.Fitzsimons and her staff calmed all my fears. They are following all the pandemic guidelines mask gloves etc and make social distancing a top priority. Everyone in the office makes you feel comfortable and safe. They are all knowledgeable and professional. If you need to see a dentist do not wait make an appointment today for either Dr.Fitzsimons or Dr.Hagan. You will be happy you did.
