After completing my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry/Biophysics at the University of Pittsburgh (Go Panthers!), I began training at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland. Completing my DDS and my PhD at the University of Maryland Graduate School, Department of Anatomy. I have had the distinct pleasure of founding the residency program at the Childrens National Medical Centers Department of Dentistry, which we transferred to MedStar Washington Hospital Center twelve years ago. I still serve as the Program Director as a part of the Department for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. We also cover the service at Childrens and the Craniofacial Department.
Opening my own practice has given me the opportunity to do more of what I love, building lasting relationships with the people I serve. Specializing in anatomy, dentistry and orthodontics, I pride our practice on taking an exhaustive, comprehensive approach that gives every patient a chance not just to heal, but flourish.

Dr. Hallman is a great dentist who gives you honest advice and has a nice and welcoming office. Her staff is very friendly and professional. My experience in having Invisalign with them has been amazing and I highly recommend them!

I cannot recommend Dr. Hallman and FitBite enough! I was experiencing a lot of dental pain after graduating college and Dr. Hallman was quick to diagnose the problem and work with me to come up with a treatment plan that was least disruptive to my life. She and her team are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were always available via phone or email if I was having a problem at home, and they're the kind of doctors that you hang around with a few minutes after an appointment just to catch up on life. They also deliver results: after completing my treatment, I am pain free for the first time in years. I highly recommend Dr. Hallman.

I needed a replacement retainer for one that had been well worn. Dr. Hallman and her team of exerts used modern technology to make an amazing appliance. When I placed it over my bottom teeth it appeared invisible. Dr. Hallman, I'm very grateful for your extraordinary talent. I look and feel wonderful.

I have six children and have worked with many medical and dental professionals in my day. Dr. Hallman, our family orthodontist for more than 10 years, is undoubtedly the best of those professionals. She is unfailingly positive in her relations with her young clients, supportive in her dealing with parents, available and informative. Her office is exceptionally well run with a team of orthodontic and administrative assistants who are pleasant and cooperative. I could not recommend her more highly to any family seeking the best in orthodontic care in the Washington metropolitan area.
