Dr. Patrick Abbey attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate and dental degrees. Following dental school, he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency in the San Francisco bay area at Alameda County Medical Hospitals. He attained diplomate status with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 1995 and has maintained his active board certification since that time, with passing the re-certification process in 2006. Dr. Abbey maintains a full scope practice, with strong interest in dental implants, orthognathic surgery and TMJ reconstruction, as well as routine oral surgery care and wisdom tooth extraction.

Got my wisdom teeth surgery with them and it was way better than I thought. The surgeon is a nice guy and all the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Recommend 100%

On Oct 19, 2021, I had my tooth #14 extracted by Dr. Godwin. She explained to me the process and performed the surgery very well. Dr. Godwin is an awesome oral surgeon and her assistant Sam and the staff were all very nice and friendly. Thank you very much to all. Great job!

Exceptionally friendly and competent practice! From every phone call to delivery of care, we could not be more pleased. Kristine is a shining star in this practice and Dr Abbey is so personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

I had some tooth extractions at FishHawk Oral Surgery and everything went very smoothly! Did not experience any complications during or after the procedures (like I have with other dental offices). Kristine in the front office was very friendly and personable. I highly recommend this office for any needed oral surgery; minor or major. Very thorough and gentle; I knew I was in good hands.

Fishhawk Oral Surgery with Dr. Abbey and staff was pleasant, efficient, and easy to work with when my son had his wisdom teeth removed. Thankful he was in good hands. Christine (Kristine) was lovely and welcoming in the front office and with her phone calls.

All of the staff are SUPER nice!! Dr. Godwin explained everything to my daughter and put her mind at ease. Christine was awesome! Talking to her made me feel like I've known her forever. My daughter left the office talking about how nice everyone is and they made her feel better about getting her wisdom teeth out.

The staff was the greatest, they welcome you with open arms and understand what you are about to be going through. I recommend this office, this Dr. to everyone. Your not gonna find a better place than this. They are really the best!

Dr Godwin was amazing. I hate going to the dentist like everyone else but she made it comforting. Not only that her skill is on point. The least amount of pain ever at the dentist. 10stars.

My husband had his wisdom teeth (all four) taken out today. We were greeted by Kristine today. She is a wonderful caring person. She even came out to my car as I was waiting for my husband to let me know that all the paperwork and insurance paperwork was taken care of. Loved how she connected with my granddaughter and niece on a personal level. We Love Her!!The oral surgeon was great along with his assistant. They really care and treat you like family. I am taking my niece to get her wisdom teeth out on Tuesday. I thank God that we were able to go to FishHawk Oral Surgery. I will recommend this place to everyone. God Bless.
