Dr. Fishbein was born and raised in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He did hisundergraduate studies at the University of New Hampshire, receiving a Bachelor of Artsdegree in 1978. Dr. Fishbein earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NewYork University College of Dentistry in 1981. He completed a general practice residencyin dentistry at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.
Dr. Fishbein is a member of the American Dental Association, and the New HampshireDental Society, as well as maintaining membership in the Academy for Sports Dentistry,and the American Society of Forensic Odontologists. In keeping with his practicephilosophy, Dr. Fishbein dedicates considerable time to attending continuing educationcourses. He has studied at the renowned Pankey Institute, and is a member of theSeacoast Implant Study Club, The Seacoast Periodontal Study Club, and the SeacoastEsthetic Dentistry Association.
An avid golfer, Dr. Fishbein enjoys playing locally, and has had the opportunity to playthroughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. He is the proud father of threechildren and six grandchildren.
My name is Haley and I am a dental hygienist that joined the practice in 2020. I graduated from the University of New England in 2015 with a Bachelor's of Science in Dental Hygiene. As a hygienist, I provide preventative care to children and adults, patient education, periodontal treatment, local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. I enjoy working collaboratively with the team to provide a comfortable environment and excellent care. Outside of my time spent in the office, I can be found doing all of my favourite things such as skiing, surfing, paddleboarding, hiking and running marathons in the company of my closest friends and family.
Barbara graduated from the New Hampshire Technical Institute with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1999. She received the dental hygiene student of the year award, as well as an award for excellence in biochemistry. Barbara has practiced on the Seacoast for fourteen years, and she joined Dr, Fishbeins practice in 2012. An accomplished composer and musician, Barbara performs regularly here on the Seacoast with several bands.
Kate received her certification in dental assisting from Dental Careers, in Portland, Maine. She also trained at Great Lakes Dental Laboratory, in Buffalo New York, where she attained certification in the fabrication of mouth guards, orthodontic appliances, and model articulation. In addition to her primary role of chairside assisting, Kate is also responsible for many of the lab procedures, including fabrication of bleaching trays, crown and bridge and implant stents, and model work.
Aimee graduated from the New Hampshire Technical Institute with a degree in Dental Assisting in 1996. While in training, she did her externship in Dr. Fishbeins office, and upon graduation, she became a full-time staff member. Aimee has held many positions during her career here. She started as a chairside assistant, and in 2004 became certified in coronal polishing. She then worked primarily as a hygiene assistant for eight years.
Sue has been working in the dental profession for 35 years. She graduated from a dental assisting program in 1982, and went on to earn a degree in dental hygiene from Forsythe School of Dental Hygiene in 1986.
Cara graduated at the top of her class in dental assisting, from Lincoln Tech in Lowell, Massachusetts in 2013. She was the recipient of the Outstanding Academic Achievement award. Cara joined our practice in July 2020, and brings exceptional knowledge of assisting in all phases of dentistry. She focuses on helping provide compassionate patient care. Outside of the office, Cara enjoys outdoor activities with her two children and husband.

After not having been able to afford going to the dentist for several years AND moving to a new state I was nervous about finding a good dentist. Everyone in Dr. Fishbein's office was awesome, caring, reasonable, and professional! Absolutely will be a returning patient and absolutely would recommend.

Not a fan of dentists at all, haven't gone in 3 years then I tried out this place. They do a fantastic job over here from check in to check out really its incredible. I got a few cavities filled and it was the best experience I've ever had at the dentists in my entire life! Dr Selle did a great job and for the 1st time ever I couldn't feel the needle in my gums, really amazing work. I will keep going here til I don't have anymore teeth they all do a great job here, thank you !

Like most of us I really dislike going to the dentist! But somehow I stumbled upon Dr. Fishbein about 20 years ago (wow, it's been that long?) and picked the office for convenience as it's in close proximity to my place of employment. Well the planets aligned that day for me as every single person employed there is incredibly kind and compassionate and make going to the dentist a comfortable and stress-free experience. My entire family became patients. Two decades later, the kids are grown and the husband has an ex preceding the word but Dr. Fishbein remains a constant. Even after being MIA for more than a handful of years I was able to reconnect immediately, actually be remembered fondly and able to have any dental needs met immediately. Aimee at the front desk (among many other hats worn) has also been employed there for as many years as I've been a patient. That alone speaks volumes for the office. I refrain from referring to it as a business because they are anything but and treat patients as people and put care above cost always. I can't say enough kind things about the practice and everyone whom make it feel like family.
