Dr. James Fish is an Arkansas county native providing affordable, quality care to southeastern Arkansas and beyond. Upon graduation from high school, he traveled to 'The Hill' obtaining his bachelors of science from the University of Arkansas. His education continued at LSU, where he earned his doctorate in dental surgery.
After eight years, he came home to Arkansas county, and opened his first dental practice in DeWitt, Arkansas. Based upon his desire to better serve the whole community, he opened a second practice five years later, on Buerkle Street, in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
For 34 years, Dr. Fish has provided life changing restorative and cosmetic dental services, providing improved smiles, elevated confidence, and enhanced overall quality of life. He specializes in many facets of overall dental care; but, most commonly performs fillings, root canals, general and surgical extractions, and wisdom tooth removal. He is a provider of dentures, crowns, bridges, and orthodontics services (correcting bites, occlusions, and the straightening of teeth by the use of braces and appliances). Dr. Fish is also a provider of the newest trend in teeth straightening, Invisalign.
When not treating patients, you can catch Dr. Fish at ballparks across the state watching his younger kids play baseball or boating on Lake Hamilton. He resides in Almyra with his wife, PJ, and five youngest kids, Gabby, Braxton, Carson, Lendon, and Lynleigh. His oldest daughter, Jaymie, resides in Bentonville, AR with her husband, Charles, and Dr. Fish's six grandchildren, Alyssa, Hayden, Lucky, Cruz, Broox, and Creed. Charles provides anesthesia services in Fayetteville; and, Jaymie volunteers in various ministries across Washington and Benton counties. Dr. Trey Fish, Dr. Fish's second child, graduated from UAMS in May of 2018, and is currently completing his pediatric residency in Jackson, MS. Kailyn Fish, his third child, is a junior at Hendrix college, obtaining her bachelors in psychology.
**** Quirky tidbit: Dr. Fish loves to wear colorful, printed, 'out there' socks. His patients often come in looking to see which ones he has on that day. Make sure to check them out when you come in the office next time! It could be mermaids, watermelons, teeth . . . who knows!****
