An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. Really nice office and great doctors! I wasn't here for the old owner doctor but the current owner, Dr. Zak, is really nice and quite funny! Very welcoming group of people !

Loved Dr. Gilbert. She was knowledgeable, honest and explained everything. She answered all my questions and took great care in her responses. She was not rushed and took her time. The x-ray technician and Brenda the office manager were pleasant and inviting. Most importantly, the out of pocket cost were not inflated. Brenda literally showed me the cost of what I needed done right off of my insurance guide. My out of pocket cost are more than manageable because their prices are not inflated beyond affordability! I was so pleasantly surprised by this office I came home and told my daughter to make an appointment. Fair dealings, courteousness and honesty - couldn't ask for more. Give this office a try! UPDATE: THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. The pulled a bate and switch on my procedure to get more money. My insurance turns out would have covered the procedure in full. No money out of pocket. When I advised I needed a second opinion...that's when the smiles faded, the hostile attitudes begin, and the racist receptionist was allowed to loudly refer to me in a condescending way. No one said anything and I had to check her on more than one occasion. These people had me apply for a Smile card, charged for a procedure they did not do as they wanted me to have a more expensive procedure, and didn't want to refund me. It took 2 months to get the funds back- funds that should not have been charged in the first place as my cost was zero according to my insurance. I really feel for Dr. Gilbert being in that type of environment as she is the reason we patronized this business in the first place. Don't go here, and certainly don't disagree with their findings or the fake smiles will come down. The office manager Brenda just out and out lied and said I refused treatment when they were the ones who wouldn't do the procedure I was scheduled for and wanted me to come back for a more expensive procedure. Don't let the first impressions of this place fool u, they are crooks. Keep looking, u will find a place that is on the up and up. Don't settle, and always ask questions. If you feel u need a second opinion, get one. All in All- go somewhere else.

I was referred to First Street Dental Group for a root canal. Everybody was kind and professional. I was told by another dentist that my root canal might not work because of the tooth being so fragile. However Ramin Khalili, DDS successfully performed the root canal. There was no pain during the process and it didn't take long to complete. I was in minor pain for a few days following the procedure and had to take ibuprofen 800 mg which helped ease the pain. I slept well

I went for my first appointment with Dr. Zaklama & Sarah. So incredibly nice and made me feel so comfortable knowing how nervous I was! They were great about payment options too! Totally recommend!

Friendly staff, but the fun unfortunately stopped there. Took my girlfriend to have work done, & she was satisfied. However, the billing was incorrect, & when I went in to the office to make a simple payment & discuss the error, I was told to have a seat. Fifteen minutes later, I was still waiting & had to leave, issue unresolved. I would recommend any dental facility where the service was good or better & the billing accurate. Sad to say, not this place.

In spite of how much pain I was in and how much work I needed my visits with this office have been very pleasant. The staff is kind empathetic and efficient. My doctor Jade Gilbert DDS was friendly knowledgeable and hand great taste in music. Looking forward to my early visits with this office.

Every person was incredibly helpful, kind, and caring. From my frantic call for an emergency appt due to sudden nerve pain, to the appt scheduled thirty minutes later, to now just a handful of hours later where I'm all fixed up and on my way to feeling better! The dentist, the endodontist, all assistants, and office women were all very very kind and attentive. I have some bad dental anxiety and they all constantly checked in with me and made sure my comfort levels were a major focus. Everyone was very professional and friendly. I am extremely pleased with this experience and will bring my family here!!

Let me start by saying that this office is amazing! A true blessing, I have my best friends wedding this weekend my bridge broke. I'm in tears not knowing what I would do I came across First Street Dental group and orthodontist. After experience a really bad experience with Dr Amy Dental in Thousand Oaks which tried to rip me off by telling me she couldn't do anything for me and I would have to pay $4000 for a temporary replacement that would only last me a month and when I said it was too much she dismissed me. I started crying even more. I came across First street dental group website and took a chance. They got me in the next morning Stephanie at the front desk was so sweet and helpful made me feel so comfortable. Sarai who was super sweet and kind and made my experience as easy as possible. From Joe back office assistant on his A game to the doctor her self Dr Jade Gilbert who came to get me from the lobby and walked me through everything step by step before they even did anything. All of them are so great and so professional and funny at the same time. They don't play around! They get it done. I want to say a big thank you to Stephanie, Sarai, Joe especially Dr J Gilbert without you I would of been a mess. Thank you all for everything you guys did for me I can't even express how great full I am.

I've been going to this dentist for a few years now and its been a great move so far. The place is always clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. All the doctors and colleagues that have either seen me or worked on me have been very professional and knowledgeable. The entire team there is always so kind and friendly. There's other perks that makes this place special, from working out affordable payment plans, to having open slots on the weekends. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for your dental needs. I have never had a better dental experience! No pain, the staff is very professional and extra courteous. It is a breath of fresh air to have Dr. Gilbert as my dentist and I particularly like that there are women working in this office- especially the dentist! I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family.
