A very special and friendly environment. I accidentally missed my appt. I went over to explain and a wonderful lady got my son right back in for the next day. We were at the appt and trying to retrieve a referral which took some time and staff and Dr were extremely patient with my young kids! That's means a lot due to how the world is nowadays. Thank you for a wonderful experience First State OM surgeon.

Great experience. Dr. Alcorn was very quick yet thorough, non-judgmental, and a pleasure to have been a patient of. All of the staff was very polite and kind. They fit me in the schedule within days after the consult (which I was able to get the morning after I called because of a cancellation), and once I arrived (for both consult and surgery appointments) there was hardly any wait at all. I was sedated for four wisdom tooth extractions and the entire procedure from entry to exit was a breeze and completely painless. It's been 12 hours as I write this and still no pain. Which I was terrified of as I have very sensitive teeth and extreme dentist-anxiety. The sites look great, the post-op instructions were very clear, and I couldn't be more pleased. Very happy I chose First State Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and thankful I had a great doctor like Dr. Alcorn and their wonderful support staff. Thank you!!!

Voted worst front desk and billing staff worldwide. I don't know where this employer goes to find these Non-customer Service qualified people, but it is a real disservice to the 5-star doctors who work here. God forbid you ask a simple question. I found them to be very defensive and highly offensive. It takes months to get in- It's just not worth it.

The front desk staff is so nasty and rude. I am dealing with a severe wisdom tooth infection and was told "I should get established with a dentist if I want them out". I do have a dentist and they referred me to this place. The customer service was my breaking point after being in pain for days and having no sleep.

Dr. Alcorn and his staff were wonderful. The two ladies that set me up with the IV and oxygen were so kind and so gentle. I'm TERRIFIED of the dentist and I had been dreading going in for my extractions and they immediately set me at ease and explained everything they were doing. I unfortunately don't remember their names, but I really wish they knew just how much that extra bit of kindness helped me. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me today. I absolutely recommend First State Oral a d Maxillofacial to EVERYONE

I had all four wisdom teeth extracted a week ago by Dr. Alcorn and he did an amazing job! I recovered quickly and with ease. Also, the ladies who helped situate me before the procedure were very calming, charismatic and professional. I was very nervous to have this procedure done but it really is not as bad as I made it out to be. This team of professionals really helped put my mind at ease and I had a very successful surgery. I will definitely recommend this place to others!

Waited two months for appt. Referred by a doctor to oral surgeon so that's what I did. They said need paperwork before appointment so I complied they called me to make the appointment, waited months drove an hour lost 1/2 day work , they took all my personal information only to be told they won't see me. Would have been nice to know before I drove down lost time, gave my personal information. Not very professional choose another office trust me.

The worse dentist office I have ever been too . I was in a whole lot of pain & unfortunately after receiving an emergency appointment my car broke down so I wasn't able to make my appointment. However I called to reschedule the appointment, and I could r get an emergency an appointment and I had to get an a appointment a month out after waiting months for an appointment. I asked for a supervisor several times and they kept transferring me to other offices !!!! I am still in pain and nothing is being taking into consideration! On top of that my consultation was horrible , one of the assistance asked me "to take my hair off " so they could get a proper X-ray, I'm a black women with a lot of hair & a white professional assistant asking me to remove my hair ? Wow !! How could u assume that my hair was even fake ?? How dare you even ask ME TO DO SUCH A THING . Very unprofessional and I'd never go here if it was the last place on earth ! I can't even believe they took over dr mullens office! I'm disgusted!!!

Dr. Ditty pulled all 4 of my daughter's wisdom teeth. He was kind, professional, performed the procedure quickly and easily, and she literally had the easiest recovery I have ever seen. Almost zero pain or swelling (and they were all 4 impacted). Highly recommend Dr. Ditty.

Tried scheduling an appointment for my daughter wisdom teeth. Don't ask the front desk girl questions. They are rude. Ignorant and does not care about patients. Don't ask to speak to the doctor they won't let you and lie!!!!

I tried making an appointment the first time, but they schedule appointments far out which was not a problem. Sadly enough everytime I call and speak to the front desk ladies they always have an attitude and very rude. They should really get in control of that for the future.
