Our office is designed exclusively for children. From the moment they walk in to our inviting and fun interactive waiting room, our goal is to make them feel at ease. While getting their teeth cleaned or teeth worked on, you child can sit back and relax while watching their favorite movie.
At First Smile Pediatric Dentistry we want to make sure every smile your child has is as important as their first. Children are our passion and we are committed to giving them the best possible dental experiences. By providing a positive and enjoyable environment from an early age and teaching your child the importance of healthy teeth, we can make taking care of their teeth fun. We want your kids to want to go brush their teeth rather then need to go brush. By doing this we can focus on prevention, early detection and implement a Dental Home to prevent harmful disease or habits from forming. We look forward to taking care of your child as they grow from infants to teenagers, not only as our patients but also part of our dental family.
With over 10 years of experience exclusively treating children, I not only enjoy working with kids but also take pride in my patience in communicating with kids and making them feel at ease. I want to inspire and educate your child to care about their teeth by providing a fun and comfortable visit, one in which he/she will remember and look forward to as they grow.
As a native of Irvine, CA I completed elementary, middle, and high school locally. After graduating from Woodbridge High School, I earned my undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California Berkeley followed by my doctorate degree in dentistry at the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry in 2001. Inspired to help young children, I furthered my dental training by completing a 2 year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital; one of the top Childrens Hospitals in the country. Following the completion of this residency, I returned to Southern California where I have been practicing exclusively as a Pediatric Dentist and helping children since 2003. I have extensive experience in behavior management, nitrous oxide sedation, oral sedation and treating patients under IV Sedation. I continue to peruse on going education to remain current in the latest in child healthcare and modern dental techniques.
When not at work, my two amazing children keep my wife and I busy. I also enjoy traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. At First Smile Pediatric Dentistry, childrens smiles are our first priority.
