New Modern Office Dr. Cass Burrell is excited to share his recently opened new high tech office. While at First Impressions Orthodontics in Fairfield, you can expect state-of-the-art treatment and care. While many dental offices offer some types of orthodontics treatment, our office consists of certified orthodontic specialists. This means that our orthodontists have completed the required training general dentists need, as well as several years of post-graduate training in orthodontics.

We Use The Latest, Most Advanced Technology We use the latest, most advanced technology in orthodontics to provide you with accurate, fast and comfortable treatment. We Have Two Centralized Locations While many orthodontic practices have offices spread out over several cities, counties and even states, we have two centrally-located orthodontic offices in Fairfield and Norwalk, CT. This helps our patients gain easy access to the orthodontic treatment they need.
Sterilization We always adhere to the strict guidelines for bacterial control and sterilization set forth by the CDC and OSHA. We use disposable tools and materials whenever possible and what tools must be re-used are always thoroughly cleaned and sterilized between patients.
Retention The day your braces come off is when you start the retention phase of your treatment. Because we want you to enjoy your great new smile for a lifetime, the cost of a retention system is included with your orthodontic treatment.

Very unhappy with the treatment my son receives with this practice. It feels overwhelmingly big to give any kind of personalized attention. Have no idea when the last time my son had face time with a doctor. Last visit, we had to return to the office 3 times to have brackets fixed (they fell off; a wire was too long). My son says trainees are working on his mouth and the treatment is very rough. Thinking of switching to another practice altogether if possible. The support staff, notably the receptionists, are great and accommodating with appointments. Not enough to recommend the place. Stay away. PS: Two phone calls to discuss with this business went unreturned.

I recently got my braces off and I have to say I'm in love with the result. So HAPPY with my smile . The Doctor's and team are amazing and make the process of getting braces so easy and comfortable from start to finish !

Love this place! The staff is very friendly and competent, they try to work with you to accomodate your schedule when making appointments, and they explain everything that's being done to your child. They have stuff to keep the kids motivated and they reward them with every visit. I'm very happy with the care my daughter is receiving!

My daughter has always enjoyed her visits to First Impressions, in spite of having to wear braces for two years beginning at age seven! The staff are very professional, gentle & caring, especially Amir & Robin, who have taken care of my daughter on many visits. She got her braces off this past Thursday and really enjoyed the party that was held at the Norwalk location to celebrate the children who were all there for the same reason. We truly appreciate the kindness & concern shown to all of us during the past couple of years and think that my daughter's teeth look amazing!

the staff are wonderful, so helpful. Dr Matt is great. There are only 2 things I don't like - that I am texted after every visit, at least 2 or 3 times, looking for a review of my experience. I replied once, asking that I not be pestered after each appointment, but that fell on deaf ears. Much more professional & meaningful I think to ask clients to review after they have completed the whole course of treatment and can give an honest review of the entire experience. The only other complaint is when my daughter had her palate expander fitted, I was quickly shown how to turn it (the technician did it, so of course no-one learns by watching someone do it for them!). If I had done the first turn in the dentist's office, while being directed, then I would have learnt it - as a result, in the 5 days it's been in her mouth, I haven't managed to turn it once properly yet. I was told I would be given the link to a Youtube video (I wasn't, and the gadget used for turning looks different on the video from the one I have). I'm sure it's simple once you have the knack! So I thought that was not great. I will now have to go back to ask that I am taught properly and hopefully not in 5 seconds flat. It pays in the long run to just do it properly in the first place!!!

I am very pleased with the entire team! Very professional and caring! My daughter Chelsea had a thumb crib and is in a process of getting braces. It makes my life easier to know that she is in excellent hands HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

First Impressions Ortho is such an amazing practice! We couldn't be happier. Not only do they get you in right away (like they did with my daughter's broken retainer - twice!) but they treat you with such kindness.
