Brett Lent, DDS, MS, is a general dentist at First Impression Dental in Fresno, California. He specializes in providing high-quality care to treat patients of all ages using state-of-the-art technology. Hes at the forefront of bringing new dental technology to patients, including Solea dental laser for anesthetic-free dentistry, same-day crowns, digital radiography, and dental photography.
Dr. Lent earned his Bachelor of Science in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He then worked as a dental research assistant at the West Los Angeles VA Hospital, focusing on chewing efficiency for denture wearers and implant patients.
He later earned both his masters degree in oral biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles. He was one of three in his class to receive the Excellence in Restorative Dentistry award.
Dedicated to lifelong learning and offering the latest dental technology to his patients, Dr. Lent commits over 100 hours annually to continued education. Hes an active member of the Faculty Club at Spear Dental Education, a prestigious interdisciplinary group of practitioners focused on comprehensive treatment planning to achieve optimal results, and received training at the Spear Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Cody was born and raised in Sanger and started working with her mom for a dentist there at the age of 17. After graduating from high school she decided to pursue a full time career in dentistry and went on to get her RDA. She furthered her education and was part of the second graduating class in the state to earn their RDAEF (extended functions). This extra education allows Cody to do a plethora of extra duties which helps Dr. Lent provide an even better chair side experience for his patients. Cody has also developed a deep passion for sleep apnea and has done many continuing education courses on the subject.
In her spare time Cody loves to travel. Some of her favorite recent trips have been to Ireland, Iceland, and Amsterdam. Cody also enjoys spending time with her daughter, Alyssa as well as her 2 dogs Shooter and Bentley. We feel so fortunate to have Cody on our team. Shes extremely knowledgeable and compassionate along with having a great sense of humor. A combination our patients and team absolutely love!
Amanda has been a dental hygienist since 2014. She takes pride in her work and enjoys getting to know her patients. Amanda loves helping patients achieve the healthy smile they deserve. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and her friends. When she is not spending time with her boyfriend, Amanda loves crafting, decorating their house, and being active with her friends.
Andrea is new to the dental field, coming in with a BA in English Literature and 18 years of bartending and serving experience. Although very different from previous experience, Andrea is loving her new dental family, and the relationships shes building with the patients. Her growth continues as shes taking on new tasks as Marketing Coordinator as well as expanding her dental knowledge.
When Andrea is not in the office she is with her two girls: Penny, born in 2015 and Fiona, born in 2019. Her sweet and sassy girls keep her very busy and constantly laughing. They all love to play outside together, take trips to the beach, and have disco light dance parties!
Since Vanessa was a little girl she enjoyed her trips to the dentist. The dental field is where she always knew she belonged. With 17 years of experience and further education in the field she now has an RDAEF2 license and continues to grow her passion for dentistry and her patients.
When Vanessa isnt working, shes spending time with her husband Ricardo, her daughter Lilah born in 2018, and her son Lucas born in 2020. They love to explore the outdoors together as a family among other activities. Just like their mom Vanessa, Lilah and Lucas also love going to the dentist!

The appointment was for my 92 year old father. Amanda, Andrea, Chris and Dr. Lent were super friendly, welcoming and made my father who suffers from dementia and is deaf, feel comfortable. I was very impressed with everyone and the service provided. Thanks so much!

Dr. Lent and RDH Amanda have given me the highest level of care I've ever received at a dental office. I've gone regularly my entire life and never realized how different dentist office care can be from one office to the next. Great location, great staff, and my teeth look great. I highly recommend this office.

This facility and its employees were amazing! From the moment I walked through the door everyone was extremely nice and polite! The ladies at the front desk were so sweet and greeted me with friendly smiles. They gave me a tour, showed me all the free snacks, and introduced me to the team! Dr. Lent is the best dentist I've encountered. He didn't just recommend a treatment, he explained thoroughly all of my options, addresses all my concerns, showed me exactly what the issue was and created a great plan of action for me and my current and future dental care. Most importantly he asked me what my goals were and gave me a great plan of action to meet them! I will definitely be returning to this office for all of my future Dental needs and will definitely be referring friends and family! Thank you all!

Got recommended to come here, the girls up front were super awesome and sweet by helping me reschedule and finally being able to come in. Not only that BUT every single interaction the intention was set for what was about to happen from the moment I walked into the door until I walked out and everyone was so open about ALL my questions and giving education along the way if I didn't understand. I've never had this great of an experience getting dental work done. Will do an update next visit but I'm sure my feelings are going to be the same
