Dr. John Moody received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since graduation he has worked along side many excellent restorative and specialty dentists. He also spent several years as a faculty member at a dental hygiene school. Dr. Moody is a member of the American Dental Association , North Carolina Dental Society , Charlotte Dental Society , Chicago Dental Society , Seattle Study Club, and the Academy for Sports Dentistry . Dr. Moody moved to Charlotte in 2007 with his high school sweetheart wife and their twins to take in the favorable climate and opportunity.
Hi, my name is Rebecka. I moved to the Charlotte area 5 years ago from northern Illinois. I graduated from Central Piedmont Community College in 2016 and have worked with Dr. Moody ever since! I am a new mom to an adorable baby boy and have 2, 60 pound, fur babies. I turned up to my appointment today really worried and nervous. Maddie my hygienist was awesome!! She listened to my concerns and explained everything about what was gonna take place throughout the appointment and the reason it was important to proceed with treatment. More than that she talked and referred to conversations we had had months before. This is what makes for an exceptional experience . Thank you so much

First Dental of Huntersville is an excellent experience to have dental works done. Specially Madison B(Mady) who is working there as an Hygienist and usually does my periodontal maintenance has an excellent and experienced pair of hands which does the cleaning. Usually dental cleaning is associated with little pain. However Mady is so much skillful that I never feels the pain. I rate Mady's Services extremely well.

Today was my first visit with Dr Moody. I was highly impressed! He spent a lot of time with me in what appeared to be a very busy office and he was kind, easy to talk to and understand and not at all rushed. I also had a cleaning today and the hygienist, Brenda, was one of the best I've been to in awhile. She was very thorough and precise, while also surprisingly gentle in her technique as well as in her demeanor. Everyone in this practice came across as a great team!

Today I had my first visit at this office, from the time I walked in the door to the time I sat in the chair was about 10 minutes. I was greeted by name as I entered the building and asked how was my day and that my provider would be with me shortly. I had the bulk of my service done by Rebecca, she was super sweett and we carried on a nice conversation in between my recieving x-rays and cleaning. Once that service was comlete I met with Dr. Nguyen and she talked through next steps. Once again, I was given one-to-one conversation , great demeanor, and a plesant voice. Everyone wore maks and sanitized throughout my service (which I really appreciated) making me feel very comfortable. I recommend this office to anyone needing, or considering dental care.
