Hoyoung Choi, DMD Dr. Hoyoung Choi went to dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated in 2011. He completed his GPR residency in upstate New York in 2012, and he has a certificate from the California Implant Institute.
Dr. Chois goal in dentistry is to make every patients dental visit as relaxing, fearless and painless as possible. To achieve this goal, he always works hard to keep up with the latest and most effective techniques in the field. His dental philosophy is to always place the patient first; he cares about what they think and how they feel. He provides individual care for each patient, and it is very important to him that his patients understand everything and feel comfortable asking any questions they have. He treats patients of all ages and enjoys working with kids and the elderly, and his hope is everyone leaves his chair with a big smile.
Dr. Choi was born and raised in South Korea. After serving in the army, he came to the United States to study dentistry in 2002. He recently moved to Woodbridge from Chicago, and he is enjoying the weather down here! He has a little daughter, and he loves spending time with her and his family. He also likes playing tennis and watching movies.

Dr Choi is very personable and professional and is always a pleasure to see. He's also proven to be very skilful, thoughtful, and gentle during procedures; very knowledgeable and willing to educate, too! His staff are always nice and courteous as well. Office is always clean and tidy. I always look forward to my dental appointments here!

Dr. Choi is the best dentist we ever had! Finally we found not a "money hungry" doctor who truly cares about his patients. He is always honest and tells you the real thing unlike many other dentists. He always give you options and never pushes you to do something you don't need. Me and my husband had excellent experience with Dr. Choi. He fixed my husbands bridges, root canals, and did filling and crowns for me, we had no problems or pain afterwards. His receptionist is super smart and friendly also. We do not have to worry about "mistaken" bills or waiting for an hour at the lobby.

I had so much anxiety entering the office but the doctor put me at ease with his gentle, caring nature. He kept me informed and took the time to educate me. I am so glad I chose him as my health care provider!

The office was nice, quiet, and clean, and the staff is friendly. I arrived a few minutes early to ckeck in they knew exactly who I was and was seen right away. Dr. Choi is very polite, has a calm demeanor and has great communication skills. I had my teeth cleaned and my gums didn't bleed at all. He made some suggestions because I grind my teeth when I'm asleep, but didn't try to push any services that he didn't think was necessary at the time. I've been to other dental offices before where it felt like they were pushing me to buy something. Didn't have that experience with Dr. Choi so I'll be back for my next cleaning in February.

One of the best Dental offices I have ever been to! I have a massive fear of the dentist and I did NOT have any anxiety being there. The staff were amazing. Dr. Choi gave me the whole run down of what to expect with the procedure, how it worked with my insurance, he was extremely knowledgeable and I appreciate being told every possible outcome. I cannot say enough good things and this was just my first visit! I actually look forward to going back and getting everything fixed over time.

Best Dentist in Virginia. Dr. Hoyoung Choi is an excellent doctor, very thorough and caring. He has always taken the time to explain every procedure he has done for me. He is very supportive, and thorough when explaining the process. He is a professional and he has a friendly personality. I would recommend him to everyone who seek quality dentistry in a healthy environment.
