Dr. Kim is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. He continued his post grad studies and served his residency and chief residency at Peninsula Hospital Center in New York City where he was exposed to all aspects of oral surgery, bone grafting, implantology, medicine, and trauma.
He practiced dentistry in two private offices in New York (Rockefeller Center and Long Island) for 7 years before moving back to his hometown of Southern California. Now he operates a group practice in Orange County.
In addition to being a member of various local and national dental organizations, Dr. Kim also has a heart for teaching fellow doctors and has lectured extensively nationally. He has lectured in major universities and is now the Course Director for Hiossen AIC Implant Institute where he lectures about implant surgery and bone grafting into the sinus. He is also responsible for forming Dr. Kim Mini Residency program where the doctors from all across the country come and learn everything about implant dentistry in a span of 8 months.

We have a modern sterilization system that surpasses OSHA requirements. Dr. Kim and his team are great, I would recommend him to anyone that need dental work. My family and I have been going to him over 5 years now. His assistants are great people, they speak English, Korean and Spanish. Dr. Kim goes above and beyond to take care his patients.

Dr. Kim made a new crown for my implant and reinserted the abutment back into the implant after it fell out and I suffered severe pain for over a month now because he refused to replace the dysfunctional misfitted oversized crown that he made that caused so much pain and suffering for over a month now. He yelled at me and screamed in horrific manner told me to never come back to his office even if pain persists when he told me to keep wearing night guard to fix the pain from this misfitted oversized crown that has been causing severe bite problem and headache, neck pain. Dr. Kim was angry and showed that he did not like to see me when I came back for pain complaint because I was suffering severely for days. Just because he doesn't want to take his responsibility financially to fix his mistakes, I had to suffer endless pain and wasting my time and labor going back and forth without getting proper treatment done to fix the pain problem permanently. He said I should keep wearing my night guard to fix this pain problem caused by misfitted oversized crown and misfitted abutment and when I explained to him that I have been wearing night guard and pain did not go away and only got worse and it was pressing on the hurting crown that he made and my purpose is to share what the pain is coming from and how uneffective was the night guard in fixing the pain problem from misfitted oversized crown and he did not want to bother to explain to me why he was mentioned that, he started screaming and yelled at me in horrible tone and threatened me to not to come back. Medical practitioner has the duty to explain about the things he tells the patient in the way they can understand and he is lacking patience and appropriate professional attitude toward the patient when he makes the mistakes and just want to abandon the patient.
