Dr. Maurice Firouz, is one of the leading orthodontics specialist in West Los Angeles.He is currently practicing clinical orthodontics with particular emphasis on craniodental development. He is also an Invisalign Premier Preferred certified provider.
Upon graduation from Beverly Hills high school with honors, Dr. Firouz attended UC Irvine. His major was biological sciences, paving the way to become an. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA, having graduated with numerous honors and awards. During that period he was the Treasurer for AlphaOmega Dental Fraternity.
After gaining his doctorate, Dr. Firouz enrolled in the orthodontics program at the University of Connecticut Health Center, completing a rigorous program with an emphasis on research, and the physics of tooth movement. Along with his orthodontic practice, he was a member of the admissions committee.
Upon completion of his orthodontic residency, he was offered a position as a lecturer at UCLA School of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics. At the time, Dr. Firouz was the youngest faculty member at the age of 24. In that capacity, he was the chairman of the orthodontic lab course and taught orthodontic principles to dental students and graduate residents.
Additionally, he has lectured to professional dental organizations and held volunteer positions at the Assistance League of Upland, and at the UCLA Venice clinic. His research has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics.
Dr. Firouz has successfully treated over 10,000 adults and children over the course of his career, with complex cases involving orthognathic surgery, orthopedic development, preventive orthodontics, and adult and teen Invisalign.
As an orthodontics specialist and advisor, Dr. Firouz has been instrumental in the success of numerous multimillion dollar clinics. He has acted as the clinical and quality control consultant to very large dental corporations. He is currently practicing orthodontics in Brentwood, Beverly Hills, Montebello, and Alta Loma.

I had came across Dr. Firouz page on IG and saw his work and read so much about Invisalign. I had braces prior but was still displeased and now I'm 23 and didn't want braces again. So I went ahead for a second opinion from Dr.Firouz. He had provided me a great plan and promised with this 7 month treatment plan I needed of Invisalign to finish making my teeth more align and straight to my liking I would be so happy. Before and during this pandemic nothing but clean and more cautious & great service when I finished my treatment. Never been so happy with my results. Dr. Firouz & his staff are very warm welcoming Thank you for everything keeping my smile perfect.

I can not express through words how amazing Dr. Firouz and his team are. I have always had a lot of anxiety about going to the orthodontist and avoided it despite how badly I needed braces growing up. However, Dr. Firouz made the whole process of getting braces so seamless and informative. This man is truly passionate about what he does and it truly shows in his attention to detail in how he walked me through every step of the process. Dr. Firouz did my braces for me when I was a teenager and the results were great! I also still wear the retainers every night. It's been 10+ years since I got retainers from him and I only had to go one time for an adjustment to them. Thank you doctor and staff for always treating me great!

Dr. Firouz has changed my smile. He is so friendly, sweet & honest! There are no surprise fees and he tells you everything upfront & also what he think would work best your teeth and smile. I saved up for a long time for Invisalign & it has been a great experience!

Had the best experience here. Dr. Firouz really cares about his patients and so do his assistants. I felt extremely comfortable coming in every appointment and never felt I unwelcomed. I highly recommend Dr. Firouz and am very satisfied with my results.

I went to get my brackets fixed today and they got me very fast. I went to sit and they fixed the chair for me and they quickly fixed my bracket. I had 0 problems and it took a very short time.

Great orthodontist. I got Invisalign and I am super happy with the results. I really recommend going to Dr. Firouz. Also the staff is very friendly which is a plus.

I got braces from Dr. Firouz and was quite happy with the outcome. I now use Invisalign for some fine tuning but am very happy with how my teeth look. Dr. Firouz and his staff are extremely friendly and I am so thankful to have them as my orthodontist!

So I came here for my braces consultation and Dr. Firouz and staff here are kind and friendly. I was able to get started with them too and I can't wait for my appointment to get them on next week. The x-ray was also really easy and fast. The office was very new and well designed. I heard they just remodeled so everything is digital. I already texted my friends to recommend him.

We always have a great experience when we have an appointment with Dr. Firouz. He is always on time, which is important, and he is extremely nice and kind and funny. He makes sure that his assistants are very gentle with my daughter's teeth and braces and doesn't hurt her. She actually enjoys going. I am very impressed with his latest state of the art equipment and digital X-rays which gave me a very clear understanding of my daughter's problem and Dr. Firouz explained very thoroughly what our course of action will be when we got started. Her teeth have been moving along beautifully since then. Dr. Firouz is truly a superior orthodontist in every way. And this is one area where you definitely want the best!!
