An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

This has been by far the best experience with any medical practice ever. Dr. Lomeli and the wonderful people here are charismatic and empathetic. Every time I have gone in they take their time to make sure you get the best dental care. I will recommend this practice to everyone I know!!!!!

Dr Lemell was very thorough and let you know what you needed where you can understand I was very happy with her as my dentist Michelle was very kind and caring. She let me know things I need to do to protect my teeth which no one had really explained how important flossing is. She was very sweet I would recommend this dentist. The whole staff was friendly. They seemed to have top of the line dental equipment. They also offered different plans to help you pay for your treatment with us a plus especially with todays economy. People just don't have lump sum payments to pay for dental work like that. So helping you come up with a payment plan to help you pay for your dental work is a plus

I found this place through my Included Health concierge service. They check and see who is LGBT friendly in the area, and I also wanted to find someone non-judgmental as I hadn't been to the dentist in many years, so they recommended this place. Michelle (apologies if I spelt it wrong) was the one who greeted me and took me to the back to get started on my x-rays and she was great, made me feel comfortable. Everyone I met on the staff was awesome, and Spencer explained my options that I had with my insurance to maximize my benefits. They cleaned half of my mouth today and will be doing the other half next time--this is mainly because my gums are sensitive and needed some recovery in between, so I actually appreciated that foresight. During the cleaning they made sure that my mouth was numbed enough and allowed me to take some small breaks. I'll be back, despite any slim hope that I wouldn't need a wisdom tooth extraction being dashed unceremoniously. But alas, they must depart my mouth after 33 years of living with me closely. So I will be returning for that as well.

We have had great service from the employees in the back for checkup, cleaning, orthodontics(Elijah is an AMAZING orthodontist), etc... the problem we have had has been billing! I've waited 1 1/2 months for a response from Spencer. Their accounting apparently cannot process payments correctly, they claim they don't always receive EOBs and I need to send them to them(not my job, but I'm going to so that my account is corrected) they have continued to process monthly payments for my daughter's braces that has already been paid off by insurance and us, and the processing dates don't match the agreement I signed(charged 1 week earlier). The lack of correspondence is beyond frustrating.

This is not an indictment on the friendliness of the personnel. Everyone I spoke with and met seemed eager And willing to help me. I came in because I have front teeth that were knocked loose. After x-rays and evaluation, I was told I needed 4 teeth removed and a bridge. No problem. I need my teeth fixed so that I can be comfortable eating. I was told exam was over and someone would come and give me an estimate. I waited in the dental chair patiently. 4 times different personnel came back and told me it will only be a minute. He is heading this way. After waiting a full 30-45 after my exam, they say that they are sorry but the person that needs to get me what i need, is too busy taking phone calls and can not get off the phone to take care of me. Apparently the phone is more important than in person patients. I would have liked to get my issue resolved, however it doesn't seem this place is willing to help. I will be looking for another dentist to help me.

We have been going to Dr Tran for years. Last week my niece had her wisdom teeth pulled by a dentist in McKinney. Roll forward for 6 days and she was in horrible pain. She called her dentist and they said it would be 5 days until they could see her. Dr Tran saw her that day and confirmed she has a dry socket. He put stuff in and helped with the pain! He is amazing. Do not use this dentist. It took me a month to receive an estimate from Spencer for my wife's bridge. He didn't return my calls and I had to wait for over an hour in their office for my estimate. When I finally did receive the estimate it was over $1000 more than the other estimates. They are also really pushy about selling services that aren't needed.

I had a front tooth removed and a post for an implant put in. They did a bone graph and I have stitches from the roof of my mouth to the location of the tooth. What I was given for pain does not help and after 2 days of calling the office no one has called me back. So I guess if you need a tooth removed you will just suffer in pain until it starts healing because they don't want to do anything for you and the dentist does not even call you back. Of course this dentist is a contractor so does not really need to care anyway.

My experience with the hygienist Jordan was amazing! She went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and was very thorough with my cleaning. She is very knowledgeable and she also educated me on my own personal oral health. I will definitely request her to do my cleanings in the future.

Place looks clean, rated 1 stars for poor customer service regarding their scheduling screw ups. Scheduled apts for the family a month out in advanced, and they didn't add our child in the visit so we had to reschedule. The second time, the girl in the front counter didn't allow enough time for the visit and had to be cancelled yet again. Will be going to another dental office.

They lie about the cerec 5 year warranty. Don't go here. They refuse to cement my crown after it was I'll fitted and place. They wanted to charge me and told me the cerec crowns really don't have a warranty. Bunch of liars. Do not go here unless you want to get scammed.

Most unorganized institution I have ever seen , every few month they hire young low experience recent graduate dentists that only last for short time then leave resulting at no guaranty of work , when you go back with a problem they tell you the doctor is not there anymore and they can't guaranty his work , last two years I have seen four different dentists there. Office personnel and medical assistances change even more often . The staff are not experienced and not trained and that causes severe chaos at office. They also have a shady practice, after setting the charges for the services to be performed , they collect the fees but once the procedure starts the office manager comes and states that they made a mistake in pricing and need to charge more. A shade tree mechanic operates more organized than these people , DO NOT GO THERE!

I went in for a routine cleaning and overall satisfied. I was a little disappointed to find out the practice had changed ownership, and there were a few minor initial kinks having to setup a new profile, redo x-rays, and a billing issue which has been corrected, nothing too earth shattering. So overall I'm satisfied and do wanna thank Firewheel Modern, I'm happy with my treatment and the staff is all friendly and attentive.

10/10 recommend. It's been a crazy world since the pandemic so most businesses are short staffed, making changes while adjusting to the increase of clients. Firewheel Modern dentistry has been exceptional in accommodating their clients through this process. The hygienist, dentist and staff members are Amazing, friendly and just genuinely care!
