Dr. Jamon Jensen married his wife, Alisha, in 2002 and they have 4 children ranging in age from 6 to 15. As a family they enjoy skiing, wakesurfing/boarding, riding quads, camping, and playing the piano. Both Dr. Jamon and his wife are accomplished pianists with Dr. Jamon touring internationally to play in Europe, China, and Japan.
His passion for orthodontics started with his father, a retired orthodontist. His dad set a great example of a charismatic, successful orthodontist who did great work and connected on a personal level with his patients. His father sold his practice at age 72 while Dr. Jamon was pursuing his undergraduate degree.
Since graduating from his University of Colorado Orthodontic residency over 9 years ago, Dr. Jamon has worked for the past 6 years in Colorado. He and his family love living in Colorado with easy access to bike trails and reservoirs.
Dr. Jamon will be a great fit at Boulder and Firestone Orthodontics because of his energy, communication skills, attention to detail, and his artistic ability. His orthodontic finishes reflect this combination of skill and natural talents with the result being excellent case outcomes. He is an excellent orthodontist and his finished cases reflect his knowledge of occlusion. His passion for learning and implementing the latest advances in orthodontics will continue to benefit his patients into the future.
