Vincent P. Vissichelli, DMD Board Certified Pediatric Dentist in Spring Lake NC Dr. Vissichelli earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Arizona and then entered Oregon Health Sciences University Dental School. While studying dentistry, he participated in the American Dental Asssociation and was active in the Big Brother Program. Dr. Vissichelli graduated from Dental School in 1985. He obtained a commission as an officer in the United States Army and practiced as a general dentist for 11 years before going for an additional 24 months of specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Iowa. While there, he focused on the growth and development of infants, children, and teenagers. His major area of interest includes children with special needs and preventive dentistry. Dr. Vissichelli Retired from the Army after 23 years of service and joined a local practice until opening Firehouse Kids Dentistry in 2014.
Dr. Vissichelli is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and has taught other dentists pediatric dentistry. His philosophy with dental care is simple: treat the child, not just the teeth. His goal is to provide comprehensive care to all patients while building self esteem and self-confidence in each child. Dr. Vissichelli does in office sedation and has hospital privileges, which will allow him to treat your child in a hospital setting.

They were really nice and took it easy for my boys, and accommodated for my son who is scared of buzzing noises. Definitely recommend them for you're kids.

This is the second time my son went for a tooth extraction and the last time they did not go forward because they didn't have a Hippa form signed by me for the babysitter and then they told me I had to go in person to sign it. So I did take off work to go in person and asked if there was anything else that was needed. Staff said no, everything was good and they booked an appointment for the tooth extraction. And today they go for the tooth and extraction and are told that they need paperwork saying that they can do the tooth extraction. So we are now booking for a third time to have this tooth pulled and it's getting ridiculous because it cost me money to pay my babysitter to take him. I'm still not clear on who is supposed to give the paperwork to your office stating that they approve a tooth extraction. I am the mother, he's autistic and will not deal with braces. I want the tooth pulled.

Would not consider this dentist. My children went here one time they referred me to another dentist called ramsey street dentist for my child to get a filling and that place ruined my child's front tooth,when i called here to let them know about ramsey dentist,they told me they can't help me since im accusing the other dentist of ruining my child's tooth and told me i would have to go back to Ramsey. Not happening !!! So i found a better dentist that fixed my child's tooth. Its been a nightmare but her tooth is the best it can be at this point. Very disappointing.

Ashley the hygienist is absolutely amazing! She talked my 3 year old through everything she was doing and was very respectful and listened when he wanted to talk. And the dentist himself is also great!

OMG love this place.. My son is autistic and the staff here were so patient and gentle with him. Granted he did have a meltdown but the staff was able to gently calm him down and he really liked them. He kept thanking them for helping him with his teeth. Would highly recommend this office.

I've been bringing my now 5 yr olds here for 3 years. They've never had a fear of dental visits thanks to the friendly staff at Firehouse. Highly recommend!

I posted a review on this office before on how amazing they are but I have to post another one! Today my daughter went in for her 4 year old check up and she did such an amazing job! Magda was Dr. V's assistant today and from now on we will book with her, she took really good care of my baby girl! My daughter got her teeth cleaned, took X-rays for the first time and got sealants on her molars! Dr. V suggested nitrous because of her age but Magda said nope she's a big girl she can get the sealants without nitrous. You can tell Magda has such a kind heart and a passion to work with children, she had a great time with my baby girl! I hope Magda doesn't mind me posting a few pictures of her working with Emy, she's a gem!
