Finney Pediatric Dentistry proudly accepts most types of dental insurance and is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Dental insurances do vary greatly in their coverage of dental procedures and may only cover a portion of the costs for services rendered in our office. We are happy to file dental insurance claims on your behalf and help you to understand your dental insurance benefits.
We can only estimate your coverage benefits in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. If for some reason the insurance company denies payment for a procedure, the patient will be responsible for the payment in full. Forms of payment accepted include cash, check, credit card or Care Credit.
Dr. Jennifer Drummond Finney is a proud Alexandria, La native and is excited to be serving her hometown community. She is a 1999 graduate of Holy Savior Menard Central High School. She went on to graduate Cum Laude from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Sociology. She attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Already knowing her passion for treating children, she received the Predoctoral Student Award for Outstanding Promise in the Field of Pediatric Dentistry. She went on to complete her Pediatric Dentistry training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and Childrens Hospital in New Orleans. She became a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2010. Dr. Jennifer was 1 of 18 pediatric dentists nationwide to be awarded the Richard C. Pugh award for scoring in the top 3% on the Qualifying Exam for Pediatric Dentists.
In her free time, Dr. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband Sam, daughter Traxtyn and son Colton. She also enjoys exercising, traveling, being involved in community activities and watching her daughters softball games!

The atmoSphere and staff was phenomenal. Lots of things to do for the kids while waiting for our turn It was our first time taking our son to a pediatric dentist, and I couldn't be more pleased. Staff and Dr Finney were very kind and friendly. I thought my son will scream the entire time, but they for sure know how to work with kids. We (son, hunby, myself) felt at ease the entire appointment. Highly recommend!

Each time we've been to Finney Pediatric Denistry, my kiddos have had excellent care in a kid friendly environment. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL and caters to each child individually. Highly recommend!

Dr. Jennifer Finney and her staff were absolutely amazing!!! . The office was so clean and kid friendly! My kids LOVED watching their fav movie while having their teeth cleaned!! Everyone there is sooooo soo good with the kids!!! . Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Finney and her staff were amazing! My 14 month old son had pretty bad stains on his teeth from Poly Vi Sol iron supplements, and they did an exquisite job at cleaning his teeth. The office was so clean and kid friendly! He enjoyed playing while waiting with the many toys, and coco melon on the screen while having his teeth cleaned. Highly recommend!

We had our 1st dentist appt for my daughter and we absolutely loved it. The staff was kind and very sweet, my daughter had a blast playing with the toys they had which helped her become more comfortable. We saw Dr. Jennifer and she was amazing and reassuring. So I'm writing this review for all my mommas to know that this is an amazing dentist! Dr.Jen is wonderful and her staff is SO kind. I had an awesome experience there for my child's first dentist experience. They have a super kid friendly office when you enter, it was very clean, quick in and out with plenty of information. I was given an appointment sooner rather than later and they take TRICARE/ United Concordia :) I hope this helps someone out. (Worth the drive to Alex)

This was my children's first Dentist visit and the experience couldn't have been better. They were a little nervous when I told them we had to go to the dentist, but upon walking into office they were immediately intrigued with all of the lights, colors, toys, and play areas. Everyone was so friendly and made the boys feel so comfortable. The process was seamless and kid friendly. I wish I was a child so that I could be seen by this amazing staff! I drove over an hour to have my kids seen at this office and I'm so glad I did! The boys are already talking about their next visit in 6 months.

I brought my 2 & 4 yr old sons for their 1st dental appointment today! They loved the toys and iPads in the lobby. The staff was super friendly and accommodating! The 4 yr old enjoyed watching Bluey during his cleaning & the 2 yr old was happy to let the dental assistant clean his teeth (which says a lot)! We left with tips and great memories! They are both looking forward to their next visit!

My son had a great experience at Dr. Finney's office. The atmosphere was very welcoming and he loved the set up area for him to play. Everyone was so friendly. I thought he would be nervous but he was so excited and talkative the whole time. I'm so happy we chose Dr. Finney pediatric dentistry!!!

The staff and facility at Finney Pediatric Dentistry are incredible! My normally shy son was laughing, singing, and talking with each of the staff members within a minute of arriving. He's typically afraid of doctor's offices, but he smiled throughout his appointment and keeps asking me to go back to the dentist and the submarine there. I'm so impressed with the professionalism, preparedness, and kindness shown.

Finney Pediatric Dentistry was wonderful! All of the staff were so friendly and kind. The atmosphere the minute you walk in the building is so welcoming and kid friendly. The waiting area has a submarine themed play room with plenty of things to keep the kids occupied. They also had two tablets with different games to play. The procedure room also had things for the kids to play with while waiting to get their teeth cleaned. There was a TV screen above the dentist chair playing Disney movies so the kids could relax and focus on that while getting their teeth done. The hygienist was so great with both my kids. Dr. Finney was also so wonderful. Super friendly and interacted with the kids like she's known them their whole lives. We all left out today smiling and very satisfied.
