Dr. Mauricio Fonrodona is a highly skilled dentist with more than 20 years experience. He was raised in Colombia around the family tradition of dentistry as his father was well known for being one of the first pioneers in implant dentistry in the 1970s. While in Colombia he received his dental degree as well as completing a three-year residency focused on Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry. Following his residency, he was also involved as a part-time faculty member, giving lectures on various courses such as esthetics and dental implants.
Dr. Fonrodona went on to further his education by completing the Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry at Gide Institute in 2015, earning the first-place award with Top Honors out of 150 fellow global students. He has a passion for knowledge that drives him to receive well over the required amount of continuing education. Dr. Fonrodona is well known for his skills in full-mouth rehabilitation as well as smile make overs and still lectures on these topics. Dr. Fonrodona is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Diplomate with the American Board of Oral Implantology, and an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Currently Dr. Fonrodona maintains a private practice focusing on Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry in Fillmore, CA.
His current area of interest is Digital Technology applied to Implant Dentistry. Dr. Fonrodona enjoys spending time with his family traveling to other countries. Daughter, Isabella is a recent graduate of UCLA and will be soon be attending medical school. Wife, Laura continues to be an active part of the practice working side by side with Dr. Fonrodona to manage their state-of-the art digital technology and laboratory.

Best dentist I ever went to. I travel from another city to go there. It takes me 1-1/2 hours to get there, but it's worth the drive.

A friend of mine referred me to Dr Mauricio just over 2 years ago. I'm so happy with the work he has done. I drive from Studio City & yes his worth the hour drive each way, that's how good Dr Mauricio is. I had to have a miner sinus lift, bone graft & 2 implants, plus a tooth pulled, as I had an the infection that was "already there. It took just over a year to complete everything. He did such a wonderful job, also I have to say he took his time to explain & showing me each step that was needed, with his modern technology machinery he has. He was a gentle working on me, compared to other dentists that I've been to. I'm a baby when it comes to teeth work. I wanted to wait to write my review until all work was completed and settled in. I did get 2 other local dentist consultations but they were too eager to give me full mouth veneers as well as the other work that I really needed to be done. Thank-you Dr Mauricio for not trying to talk me into changing my own good teeth & putting all veneers, as well as the work that I just needed done. Saving me the pain, time as well as the money, when the rest of my own teeth are perfectly good. Also thanks to your well trained stuff for working out payments. Now I just go in for my maintenance, cleaning.

We have been going to Dr. Fonrodona for many years. He is knowledgeable, pleasant, kind and always ready to go above and beyond to help a patient. If there were 6 stars I'd give him 6.

tried to schedule appt - spoke with a representative Daniel, I believe... he just hung up on me, telling that I reached the wrong office... tried to call at later time - they did not even bother to pick up the phone...

The best dental experience I have ever had. The staff was very nice when giving them my information over the phone, they take care of all of it. When I went in there, the girls were very friendly and talk to you like you are their friends. When I walked in to get my x-ray, I was blown away by the futuristic x-ray machine that spinned around my head to do a full X-ray on my teeth. It was a very comfortable x-ray experience even when she sat me down to do more extensive x-rays photos. The dentist and his assistant greeted me when they walked and were very gentle with my teeth. The dentist was very knowledgeable and informative when it came to any questions and recommendations on my teeth. From the moment I stepped into the dentist to the second I left, I felt like they treated me like family. I highly recommend this dentist and his staff.

I recently got 2 dental implants done by Dr. Fonrodona and I was amazed how I did not feel any pain at all!! From the procedure to the recovery I experienced no pain at all. I was nervous because I always thought that a dental implant could be a very invasive procedure. I wish I could have done this a long time ago! Thank you Dr. & staff for always being so kind and welcoming! Definitely recommend everyone in need of dental care to go to them!!

I love Dr Fonrodona and this office! I live in Missouri and come here once or twice a year to visit family. I always wait to have my dental procedures done here. I know they will be done correctly and the cost is less than I would pay for endo work in MO. My dentist in MO that I use for regular check-ups and cleanings, and the endodontist I have seen in MO for dx on a problem area, have all commented on my "beautiful implant" and my "perfect crown" - their words, not mine.
