Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

This is to whom it may concern, 09/07/2022. I was a patient there on that day. My name is Kathryn White Bishel. I want to sincerely thank all of the people that worked on me that day. To include Dr. Prakash DDS he was very patient with me and very thorough. I also want to thank a few ladies that also worked on and helped me...Marisol, Elisa, and many others that I can't remember the names of. A special thank you to Micky. She helped keep me calm and my blood pressure for going up any higher than it was... Mickey is a very valuable asset to your company and I thank her so much. You were all great! And I will see you in January 2023. Sincerely, Kathy

All the teeth I got worked on here hurt. I have had two fillings done, now those teeth are now super sensitive after the work was performed. I had two canals done and now a year later I have to get a retreat done on one. I was refused antibiotics after the doctor told me I have an infection because of the root canal. That's why I went in, was for an infected tooth. When I got a cleaning done the hygienist ripped off one of my feelings that I had to re-pay to get put back on. After one of my visits, they were trying to tell me I didn't pay for the service when I did pay for it. I had to go through bank statements to show proof. The staff is super friendly and awesome just the work getting done there is horrible. I even went to a different dentist because of course, I'm not going to go back to fig garden for work. The new dentist even told me I got really bad work done. ......... I don't like to leave bad reviews but I'm leaving this review to save you from going through what I did.

Do not recommend this dentist office. My wife was scheduled to have teeth fixed and we paid close to $4k after the consult. Received a call that the dentist quit and left the practice. I called to get my money back an ultimately had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get the money back.

First off, the Dentist and staff at this location have changed recently. I am a nervous dental patient and I needed a crown. They got me in quickly, treated me with compassion, and fixed my tooth while keeping me comfortable and informed about what was happening. I will be going back for the additional work that I need done and would recommend their services.

I began frequenting Fig Garden Dental Group ("FGDG") in 2014. At first, the practice was run efficiently. I liked the staff and doctors. However, the turnover of dentists has been frequent. During 2021 FGDG has cancelled our dental appointments, at the last minute, three times. Thus, neither I, nor my family, has received dental care during the later portion of 2021. It appears the dentist(s) have left FGDG?! Anyway, we are moving on.

Arrived early to complete new patient paperwork but still had to wait an hour and a half before getting my X-rays done (mind you it was only 2 other people waiting). Then I had to wait an additional 2-3 hours to get my teeth "cleaned", which was subpar in itself. It took forever just to get in contact with the practice manager regarding my experience and even then I had lost whatever patience I had left so I just canceled my remaining appointments I had made at my initial appointment. The manager didn't even ask how my experience was either. I DO NOT recommend this practice. Save yourself some time and money and get better treatment at another facility.

1) The wait time is unreasonable. Several times I've been left in the dental chair "waiting on the dentist" so long, that I assume I've been forgotten, and I've gone out searching for people. The last time I sat waiting in the dental chair (after getting x-rays) for over 40 minutes. This has happened several times. 2) This last time, the technician came in to clean my teeth. She said "I'm here to do your polish." I asked about a cleaning. She went to the dentist to check, came back and said "no, dentist says you only need a polish." I've never heard of such a thing. So, after a couple of minutes of polish and NO CLEANING (and after I had to wait over 40 minutes, just for a two-minute polish), they sent me on my way. Suspicious, I checked to see what they billed to my insurance. Predictably, they billed for the full cleaning that they didn't provide. 3) They changed my appointment and didn't tell me. I went in at the correct time, the receptionist said I didn't have an appointment for that time. It was set for an hour later. I showed her my email reminder to prove that was not true. She said they had changed it on their end. "Didn't they call you?" Nope. Nobody called me. They just changed my appointment and expected me to just know that. So I had to sit and wait for an hour. 4) They switched billing companies recently. This new billing company is sending out erroneous bills to customers and threatening to send them to collections. Fig Garden Dental admits this is a fault on their end and that I don't owe the bill. It has been WEEKS of me trying to get them to fix it. They claimed that it is fixed, but I just received another bill today. So, even though they show I have a zero balance, they haven't bothered to actually tell their billing company that. Even if Fig Garden shows a zero balance, it doesn't do any good if they don't also tell their billing company that. I wasn't going to post a review, but after receiving ANOTHER bill (dated May 31st) after they allegedly fixed the problem (May 19th), I'm at my wit's end and I don't know what to do anymore.

Save yourself time and your sanity, don't go to this office. Honestly I wasn't going to resort to writing a poor review but it's almost as if they were asking for it. I wrote them a privet email about my experience and they never responded. I was a new patient scheduled at 1pm arrived 15 mins early, filled out all my paperwork via email ( recommended by the receptionist, to speed up the appointment time) . 9 more patients arrived after me, and I can see the staff were mostly all coming back from lunch so I waited patiently to be called. It wasn't until the 4th person called did I start to question my spot in line. They said it will be a few minutes, by 1:30 the lobby was cleared out and I asked again why I was the first to arrive and last to be seen, the office manager responded she accidentally put me in the last chair, and it will only be a few minutes. I finally am seated for X-rays and begin to calm down again. I am seated in another room to wait for the hygienist to probe, then wait for the doctor to evaluate. (Reasonable wait times 10-15 mins) . Doctor said I just need a cleaning which can be done today I just have to agree to payment with the front(wait again 10-15 mins) SIGNED AND AGREED. Said it should be a short wait, I made a couple phone calls while waiting, realized a half hour had gone by, it's 3pm by this time , and the hygienist walks back in confused to why I am waiting in the chair still she ask "are you waiting for something?" I respond yeah a cleaning... she walked out and I could hear them talk in the hall about how she was unaware of my cleaning. But no one came in to clarify how long it will be , so I was left waiting, it wasn't until about 3:20 pm I decided to walk out. And I wrote an email expressing my poor experience... I waited a week and a half to hear a response and NOTHING no apology no reschedule NOTHING. So I called the office to bring it up , they dismissed it, and I just asked if I can have my xrays emailed, I have to come in and sign a form. So I did, WOW front desk RUDE... as if they were the ones who were treated poorly..I asked do you guys check your emails and he say "yeah" avoiding eye contact and moving on. They just could careless and it shows. Your just a number and it's just their 9-5 and you hold no value to them. Really makes me miss my previous office I moved from. A little recommendation to the Practice try being a little more friendly and understanding, and own up to your mistakes and try correct them, even apologizing or reaching out to your patient would suffice.
