Dr. Schroeder has a special interest in esthetics. She completed the University of Minnesotas Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry. She is a Senior Master of FastBraces and enjoys improving smiles with this orthodontic system. She is trained by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and is a certified injector of Botox, which is used therapeutically and cosmetically.

Dr. Schroeder has lived in Elk River since 1998 with her husband Brad and three children. They are members of Central Lutheran Church. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, golfing, skiing, and traveling.

is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and a 2010 graduate of the University of Minnesota Dental School. She then completed a residency at the University of Colorado and worked as faculty for the University of Colorado Dental School before returning to Minnesota in 2012.

Dr. Halligan grew up in Eagan and now lives in St. Michael along with her husband, Josh, and four children. They enjoy spending time at the lake in the summer, as well as snowboarding, hiking, and golfing. They spend much of the winter months watching youth hockey games. Dr. Halligan also involved with the Anoka Halloween Committee

She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and a board member of the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce. In addition to treating your general dental needs, Dr. Halligan specializes in IV Sedation, Implants, Botox, and Juvederm Injections.

Dr. Ben Englund received his degree in biology from Bethel University in 2010. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Dental school in 2016 and continued with his residency at the University of Minnesota Fairview.

Dr. Englund attended Minnetonka High School. He lives in Golden Valley with his wife Karin and two children. They have two dogs. Dr. Englund enjoys spending time outside with his family, camping, hiking, and exploring parks. He also trains for triathlons with his wife.

Dr. Englund is a third-generation dentist and a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He loves to help patients reach their functional and aesthetic goals by providing gentle, quality comprehensive care.

Dr. Sam Crane received his undergraduate degree in human physiology from the University of Iowa prior to attending the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school in 2018, Dr. Crane and his wife, Tessa, moved to Minneapolis as he continued his dental training in residency at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Dr. Crane is a member of the American Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Association. He believes in a comprehensive approach to dentistry and patient care while helping individuals reach the full potential of their smiles.

Our Dental Hygienists at Fifth Avenue Dentalhave a combined 70 years of hygiene experience and are excited to help you have a healthy and happy smile. Each hygienist continues to take additional classes on the latest oral health procedures and products to detect gum disease at the earliest stages. Fifth Avenues Dental Hygienists will be sure that your visit is the best it can be.

The Assistants we have here at Fifth Avenue Dental are a critical part to our Dental Team.Like our dental hygienists, they also take additional training. Many courses allow for advanced training that helps the doctors with orthodontics, fillings and IV Sedation care. Our assistants are here to help you and the doctor with your dental treatment.

I am a pre-dental student from the area and was looking to get some shadowing experience in a dental clinic. When I called Fifth Avenue dental two years ago, they welcomed me in with open arms! I am still currently shadowing there, and each dentist is more than willing to explain and answer any of my questions regarding dentistry. I had a great experience at 5th Ave Dental. Dr Englund was wonderful. He had good suggestions for me to try at home. My dental hygenist was great. She recommend I try a specific toothpaste. The front desk staff was very friendly and the patient care coordinator was very efficient.

The crown prep was a painless procedure with Dr. Schroeder and her assistants were always checking to if I was having any discomfort during the procedure. The office followed up the next day to check up on me, and the crown fitting went flawlessly. Will always be my dentist.
