Dr. Trevor J. McGerr was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. During his time in school, Dr. McGerr received a Health Professions scholarship from the United States Air Force. Immediately after graduation, he started serving as a Captain in the Air Force. Dr McGerr was stationed at Joint Base MDL in central New Jersey for three years, where he provided care to all branches of the military. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. As a new resident of the Harrisburg area, he is looking forward to getting outdoors to do some backpacking and biking. In addition to reading about the latest in dental products, Dr McGerr is a tech and science news fanatic. He recently joined the Harrisburg Young Professionals and will be involved in networking and volunteering in the community.
Dr. Frisbie grew up in the Pocono mountains near Scranton, Pennsylvania. With his wife, Samantha, he now calls our area his home. He received both his Bachelors in Biology and Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh, and was recognized with several awards upon graduation from Dental School.
Dr. Frisbie is active in the American Dental Association and is working towards his fellowship Academy of General Dentistry. His practice philosophy is to treat every patient the same way I would treat my mother, father, or brother. Dr. Frisbie loves the small town communities that make up Pennsylvania, and enjoys spending time outdoors.
Dr. Carlson is a Kansas native, who earned her Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology at the University of Kansas. After graduation, Dr. Carlson worked as a forensic toxicologist in Kansas City for several years before moving to Philadelphia to return to school. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University.
During her time at Temple, Dr. Carlson had the opportunity to do community outreach at various clinics in Philadelphia and serve as Vice President to the Dominican Republic Club. The club organizes a mission trip to Samana, DR each year, where Dr. Carlson was able to serve the underprivileged and receive valuable training in oral surgery.
Dr. Carlson is excited to join the team at Fields Family Dentistry to serve the community of Mechanicsburg. She believes in building relationships with patients that are based on mutual trust, compassion, and respect for the patients individual wants and needs. Dr. Carlson has a passion for continuing education and keeping up-to-date with the latest in dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association and Pennsylvania Dental Association.
