Dr. Eric Greenhalgh has been a favorite Anacortes area dentist for many years. He is a native of Kirkland, Washington where his father, Paul Greenhalgh served as a dentist for 37 years. Eric followed in Dads footsteps to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from prestigious Case Western Reserve University in 2000. Eric immediately returned to Western Washington where he has been helping dental patients for 2 decades.
Dr. Greenhalgh provides a full range of dental services for both children and adults of all ages. He makes it comfortable and easy to re-establish your good dental health. He takes time to listen closely to your experience and concerns, then carefully explains solutions, options, and procedures. Dr. Greenhalgh is the proud father of four accomplished kids. When not assisting his many dental patients, Eric enjoys local sports, restaurants, hunting, music, movies, and Western Washingtons beautiful outdoors. You will find he likes meeting people to share stories and exchange humor.

Great dentist and staff. Been bringing my family here for years. My son need a cavity filled and the doc said he doesn't need a novacaine shot because when kids are young their nerves haven't developed fully!! Can you believe it??! My little boy got his filling and happily skipped over to the toy bin!! Happiest day ever!!!
I have gone to plenty of dentists in my life. This was the first time I didn't feel embarrassed or judged. My teeth weren't doing so well and I really needed them to be worked on. John didn't push any work and let me make the decisions about my teeth that worked for me.
They saved my tooth with root canal that I barely knew was happening! Wonderful staff. Got me in quickly because my tooth was hurting. Thanks for putting in the work to save my tooth Dr. Huntsinger, When another denist just wanted to pull.

Had two teeth prepped for crowns and he took his time administering the local anesthetic, which really helped take the pain out of it. I was so relaxed I dosed off during part of the prep work. I'd rate them as a 5 but I am just beginning to work with him.

My husband had a tooth repaired this morning and is now traumatized and questioning whether or not he can return to the dentist EVER. No empathy or concern for his comfort was shown during his procedure. No pain relief or numbing was offered and it felt as though they were breaking his teeth out. Even as he writhed in the chair and sweated profusely, they did nothing to make him more comfortable. The dentist even condescendingly wished him luck "with eating" but offered no aftercare instructions. If you have anxieties about the dentist, do not go here unless you have an advocate that can be with you for the entire appt. 100% agree with previous reviews implying that $$$ is the top priority for this provider. Sad and disappointed.

Great dentist and staff. Your oral hygiene is very important them 100%!!! Dr. Eric Greenhalgh is very gentle and does excellent dental work. He always makes sure every patient is comfortable and satisfied with every visit. The front office staff is very welcoming and will help you through your finances or insurance if needed. If your looking for a dentist come in and see Dr. Eric Greenhalgh and his staff! I highly recommend them !

Dr. Greenhalgh is compassionate and straight forward. I Appreciate that he tells you what you need and takes the time to explain why. He Is the new dentist after the old one retired in 2021. Katie at the front is super knowledgeable and is able to take through insurance questions. The assistant is very warm and gentle. Everybody looks happy to be there and you can tell they enjoy working together and with patients.

In the past when this office took state insurance plans, we would refer our patients who lost their private plans here. Dr. Greenhalgh took great care of them and we always received positive feedback. They are prompt to return calls and are able to fit emergencies in promptly. We will continue to refer patients to this office that live up north. They are currently remodeling from when they took over July 2021 from the previous owner and cannot wait to see the growth. If you are looking for a team that loves why they do and their patients, I highly recommend fidalgo island dental!

I have gone to plenty of dentists in my life. This was the first time I didn't feel embarrassed or judged. My teeth weren't doing so well and I really needed them to be worked on. John didn't push any work and let me make the decisions about my teeth that worked for me. He pulled 3 in one visit and fixed the rest on my next. I am so grateful because my past experiencees with dentists were terrible. I have overcrowding and he didn't push braces on me or anything. It was nice because I don't want braces. I will definitely be returning. He fixed everything in my mouth in 2 visits!

My earlier experiences with Dr. Huntsinger weren't very good, there were two or three times when the numbing he injected me with didn't work and he had to add more, but for the past 3 or 4 appointments I've had it's been smooth sailing, even when there's a cavity to fix, the numbing is very effective.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Picked up my mom from her appointment crying. She said it was the worst experience of her Life. I have heard a lot of bad things about this place and I HIGHLY recommend not going. My mom said that it felt like they were breaking her jaw and she had a panic attack from the feeling. My opinion, they're just wanting your money. Don't go.
