Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Recently went in for a crown and had a very positive experience. Dr. Thomas and her team are very attentive, patient, and thorough in the care they provide. Elizabeth is always friendly and GREAT when it comes to finances and payment arrangements. Give them a try!

I have extremely high anxiety related to my history of medical traumas and also very serious dental issues. I was so terrified to see a dentist but I knew it was important to go and to stop my longstanding pain. After months of reading reviews and putting it off, I decided to contact Festival Dental. I have had such horrible experiences and I've had so much shame and embarrassment about my teeth in the past, I expected this to be the same. Not at all. Every single person at the practice has been extremely caring and patient. Dr. Sara (dentist) who strongly advocates for me, especially Elizabeth Kennedy (office management) who has put my fears at ease and Britt (technician) who told me I deserve to feel comfortable are cared for, have advocated for me in ways I never expected and didn't think I deserved. If I had known I could get this level of support, compassion, advocacy and care I would have started this process years ago. I highly recommend and fully trust the team at Festival Dental. This experience has truly changed my life for the better.

Horrible office. They called and rescheduled me four times with only a 24 hr. notice. For some reason they can't keep a hygienist in that office. They have rescheduled on my husband twice. Terrible ran office.

Updating this review based on my experience I had most recently. I came here after my 10+ year dentist changed what insurance he accepts. My initial visit was fantastic earlier this year. I gave them 5 stars. Well after today I will never be going back. I was treated like a new patient after I had visited this year already. Then I came for a cleaning. Well after they did their initial "inspection" they came in with a laundry list of things I should do for my "treatment plan". I said I was just here for an initial cleaning. Well the dentist came in and added some more "things to be mindful of". Then with what felt like the car dealership closer came in with a bill for almost $500 for a cleaning. I have never been hit with a request to cover almost $500 for a cleaning in my over 20+ years of visiting dentists. Cleanings are a touchup. After I said I would not be paying that they basically dismissed me and said I could check out and the cleaning never actually happened. I won't be back. There are plenty of dentists that aren't looking to up charge a simple visits and actually perform what you came in for. Furthermore not one tooth was bothering me, no pain, no issues so to get hit with this left me with nothing more than a feeling I was at a car dealership being sold up the river.

Do not waste your time with them. The ladies working the front are very rude and brief and don't explain anything. If you try to make an appointment online, they will lose your info and insurance info. While we were there, someone else had been waiting over 15 minutes just to pay, after his appointment was done. Go somewhere else where the staff actually seems to care.

My husband, myself, and my 3 kids have been coming to this office for 6 years and we absolutely love it! Dr. Thomas is absolutely amazing and the front desk staff is so friendly and accommodating. This is our dentist for life!

Absolute joke of a dental group. I scheduled weeks ago with my insurance, and when I come in they say it's nowhere to be found. Then after I'm standing at the desk for five minutes and they haven't talked to me, they look like deer in the headlights when I ask them what's needed for my appointment. Needless to say these teenagers are very unprofessional, and could care less about your experience. Go elsewhere and get a better experience for something so important.

Horrible office. They called and rescheduled me twice. When they called to reschedule me the first time, the earliest I could get in was 4 months later. I made the appointment because I had already put a $150 deposit down!! They called me a week before my rescheduled appointment and told me they need to move my appointment again! They said they couldn't get me in until September!! It's may. Which I was going to do but when I asked if my deposit is still there they said that there was no credits on my account and that I will have to pay in full again! So they took my money and have been able to get me an appointment for close to a year now! Horrible place

What an incredible experience I had there. I recently came from another dentist that I was a patient of for 10 years. I was no longer able to go there because they stopped accepting my insurance plan. I was reluctant but the staff and doctor were incredible. Patient, caring, explained all costs BEFORE and just gave me an incredible level of service for my first visit! If you are looking for an awesome dentist this is the place!

Dr. Thomas and all the medical assistants are by far the most knowledgeable and caring folks ever. Had to have oral surgery by Dr. Garrett. He and his assistant Anthony were caring and the whole procedure was done with NO pain or discomfort. Post procedure instructions were detailed and very helpful. Follow up was done by Dr. Thomas and all questions were answered as well as helpful hints for an even faster recovery . So far no complications were noted. I would absolutely recommend Festival Dental in Surprise for all and any Dental work needed. Also...the office staff Meghan and Elizabeth were extremely caring and helpful with insurance and any payments required.

I had a great experience. Only had x-rays, cleaning and exam with fluoride. Brittany and Steve were both great!! And Dr. Thomas was great also!! Would recommend Festival Dental to anyone!!

Marianna ( the Dental Assistant for Dr Sarah) was the best. Kind, compassionate, caring etc... Dr Sarah was good also, but Marianna finished the process of fitting a new crown and making a temporary for me. Very good!!!
