Dr. David S. Ferry III was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from Jesuit High School and continued his academic endeavors at Loyola University on a baseball scholarship. He graduated in 1974 with a major in chemistry and biology. Dr. Ferry then attended Louisiana State University where he earned his doctorate in dental surgery. It was while he attended Loyola University that he met his wife, Maria Tabio, who was earning her degree as a registered dental hygienist. Upon graduation, they decided to relocate to Marias hometown, Plant City, where he fell in love with the people and small town atmosphere.
Dr. Ferry feels blessed with a profession he truly has a passion for. He dedicates countless hours to studying and perfecting his restorative dentistry skills. He offers his patients a warm, home-like atmosphere where every patient is treated as a guest. He wants his patients to understand their dental needs and concerns in order to talk about them freely.
A respected professional, Dr. Ferry is an active member of the American Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Polk County Dental Association and Hillsborough County Dental Association. When not focused on dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid photographer, fly fishes for saltwater reds and snook, and enjoys golfing and gardening.
Maria has been working in the dental field since her high school days. Meeting her husband in college, they have developed a unique husband /wife dental team who consistently provides the best level of service to their patients. Maria has a passion for her patients and has a gentle caring approach. The best part of her job is making a patient feel loved and get the smile they want. Besides sharing daily experiences in dentistry with Dr. Ferry, they enjoy furthering their education together in seminars and meetings. Maria has three sons, three granddaughters, one grandson, and two dogs that complete her life. She enjoys hiking, gardening, girlfriends and being a grandmother.
Aprils dental background began in 1996 while she was a senior in high school. She started working at a local dental practice where she did scheduling and assisted the doctors for many procedures including periodontal surgery. After graduation, April continued to work in the dental field while obtaining her AA degree from Hillsborough Community College and expanded duties certificate from Nova Southeastern College. After working as a main hygiene assistant for 4 years, April decided her true passion for dentistry was in Preventative care. She continued her education at Valencia Community College where she graduated in 2004 with an A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene. Upon graduation, she immediately began her career as a dental hygienist, which she loves! In 2014 she married Michael Ferry and began working with Dr. Ferry, she feels blessed to be able to now work in her familys practice. April was born and raised in Plant City. She enjoys being involved with her church and spending time with family and friends. April feels blessed to be able to work in her family practice. She and Michael also had a new addition to their family, Caiden... their pride and joy born in June 2017.
Jennifers extensive background in dentistry began in 1997 as an orthodontic assistant. She worked with Dr. Ferry part time and then moved to Tampa office to pursue her passion for implant dentistry for 8 years. Recently she returned to Dr. Ferrys practice, bringing her expertise background in cosmetic dentistry. Jennifer was born and raised in Plant City area where she continues to reside with her husband Steve, son Miles, daughter Mackenzie and 2 four-legged children Max and Perky. Jennifer comes from a large family and is very family oriented. Other than her family, her second love are the Gators. She is truly a Gator girl and enjoys going to watch them play.
Ann has been working in the dental field since 1978. She started young advancing her knowledge with ongoing education and experience granted from great dentists throughout her career. While Ann has worked all support from chairside to Office Manager, she is happiest in her position at the front desk. She cares for our patients as if they are her family and we love her for it. Ann enjoys spending time with her grandson. She enjoys spending time with her wonderful parents, friends and being outside.
Rebecca was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. She graduated from Durant High School in 2002. Seeking her career in dentistry, she attended Erwin Technical Center where she earned her certification as a registered dental assistant with expanded functions. She has worked with Dr. Ferry for 6 years and then decided to expand her knowledge as an endodontic assistant in Brandon. After 6 years, she decided to come back to Dr. Ferrys practice and is a very valuable part of the team. Rebecca is married to Patrick and spends every spare moment with the joys of her life, Ryleigh and Trent.
Kala was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has been an EFDA Dental assistant for over 10 years. Her experience has taught her that nothing is more important than the people she is allowed to care for every day. She is married to Justin and is the proud mother of two beautiful girls. In her spare time, she loves making memories with her family and cheering for the LSU Tigers.
Helen became familiar with dentistry at a young age by shadowing her dad in his practice. She fell in love with his ability to help people with gentle dentistry and she now strives to do the same. She attained her AA degree at Polk State college and her AS in Dental Hygiene at Santa Fe. She enjoys working in a practice that focuses on ethical and compassionate dental care. Helen is married to JJ. She enjoys living on her farm with many animals and has a passion for horseback riding and scuba diving.
