For me, family comes first. I love spending my free time out and about in the Santa Barbara community and the outdoors with my wife, Alexandria, and my son, Ford. We love spending time at the beach, running, and skiing and snowboarding. I was a collegiate golfer, so I also try to get out on the course whenever I can!

Our orthodontic assistants have years of experience in treating patients with excellent care, compassionate care, and we are the only office in Santa Barbara whose orthodontic assistants have the highest level of licensure called the O.A.P.
Michelle is here to ensure that you have the best experience possible at Ferris Orthodontic Group. A native to Santa Barbara, Michelle has had the privilege of calling Santa Barbara her home, attending local schools and enjoying all of the festivities our community has to offer. Michelle has been in the orthodontic field for over 20 years. In her time away from the office, she enjoys sharing the sights and sounds of Santa Barbara with her husband and daughter.
Dev works hard alongside Dr. Ferris to make sure that all of your Invisalign needs are taken care of. She is also one of our lead assistants and has been working in Orthodontics for over 15 years11 of which have been at Ferris Orthodontic Group! Dev lives in Santa Barbara with her husband and two sons. When not at the office, she loves spending time with her family.
Janelle is the friendly face youll meet when you make your payments at Ferris Orthodontic Group. She will also work with your insurance company to ensure you get all of the coverage youre eligible for. When Janelle isnt at work, she loves everything food related! She considers herself a foodie. Whenever she travels, she loves to research all the best places to eat and plans her trips around the food destinations.
Meet the New Patient Coordinator! Dena will be the first person you contact in the practice, She is eager and willing to explain and release you from any doubts you might have. She will set everything up to meet your smile goals.
She also coordinates the continuing Doctors education program. This is because we understand we need to be on top of the latest technology and information to give our best performance to get the smile you deserve.
Anna is one of the friendly voices you will encounter over the phone. She has 8 years of experience working in orthodontics and is incredible at handling all of your scheduling needs! When not working, she enjoys spending time outside with her toddlers, watching them experience things for the first time. For her, family is everything. They all enjoy watching sports together, experiencing new foods and restaurants, and simply being together.
Sandra is our lead orthodontic assistant. She has been in the orthodontic field for over 20 years and excellent at her craft. Sandra is fluent in both English and Spanish and helps coordinate correspondence with our Spanish speaking patients. When not working with the team, Sandra enjoys spending time with her two children and husband.
Mercedes is one of our cherished assistants and has been in the dental field for 13 years. Mercedes is fluent in both English and Spanish and helps coordinate correspondence with our Spanish speaking patients. When not working, she enjoys traveling with her husband and doing volunteer work with friends.
Reyna is one of our awesome orthodontic assistants and has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She was born and raised in Santa Barbara and attended Santa Barbara High School (Go Dons!). In her spare time, she loves spending time with her 2 children and husband of 14 years.
Daniela works diligently to gather your dental records. Her bright smile and sweet demeanor are sure to put you at ease if you have any dental anxiety. Daniela is fluent in both English and Spanish and helps coordinate correspondence with our Spanish speaking patients. When she isnt with her dental family, she usually likes to spend time with her family and to travel.
You may see Tina at our front desk or speak to her over the phone as she will take care of all your scheduling needs. She enjoys swing dancing, watching Star Trek: The Original Series, and sea cave kayaking at the Channel Islands. She would even go as far to say that her spirit animal is the harbor seal!
