After graduating she was commissioned as a Dental Officer in the U.S. Army where she served from 1984 to 1995. During her military time Dr. Nichols was exposed to many different and challenging aspects of dentistry. Her military training was an invaluable experience.
In 1994 Dr. Nichols decided to leave the military in order to be closer to her family. She purchased her current practice in 1995 and has been there for the past 24 years. Dr. Nichols' goal is to provide outstanding dental care while maintaining an old fashion family practice atmosphere. We have been fortunate to serve many wonderful patients and are looking forward to many more!

I have been a patient of Dr. Nichols' since moving to the DMV 27 years ago! There's a reason for that...Dr. Nichols is smart, knowledgeable, patient, and has a wonderful beside manner. I will continue to visit and recommend her practice until I leave the DMV. Thanks, Dr. Nichols!

Our family has been cared for by Dr. Nichols and her staff for over two decades. We deeply appreciate the attention and care they have given us over the years, starting when our kids were small to treating them now as young adults. Dr Nichols is an amazing dentist. I started seeing her about 10 year ago after being gouged by a fancy dental practice. She is thorough, fair in her pricing and never prescribes anything that is not needed. I absolutely love this practice. So much so that now I have my entire family seeing her.

The doctor and staff are wonderful and great people. The Doctor is very honest and polite. I had a great conversation with the front receptionist. He was very helpful in filling out my paperwork. I do not like to go to the dentist here in the USA, but now that I have met Doctor Ferrer-Nichols and feel very comfortable and safe to have such a trustworthy and professional Dentist, I will be back. I am very happy with Dr Nichols' practice. It is rare I need to wait for more than a couple of minutes. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. The quality of work is solid. Parking and access in and out is as easy as it gets. Stop by Rodmans on the ground level to buy something and get parking validation for free parking. There is also plenty of street parking nearby. I have had a couple new fillings and many filling replacements over the years and have not experienced any pain despite electing to not use novocaine.
