Dr. Michael Sacro was born and raised in sunny Southern California. When he was in high school, his family sold everything they had, moved to the Philippines, and served as missionaries in the beautiful island of Palawan. It was because of his missionary encounters there that his life was changed forever. He decided that service was his calling, so he decided to pursue a career that would enable him to do just that.
After high school, Dr. Sacro graduated with honors from Southern Adventist University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology with a biomedical emphasis. He attended Loma Linda University to train for a career in dentistry. Throughout his dental education, Dr. Sacro participated in various dental missions in San Bernardino County in California. He also went overseas to care for the underserved communities in Bangladesh and Belize. Dr. Sacro is a recipient of the American Dental Associations Certificate for International Volunteer Service.
He enjoys all areas of comprehensive dental care, from preventive treatment to simple restorations, to crown and bridge work and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Mt. Baker District Dental Society, Washington State Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
Outside the office, Dr. Sacro is a musician, wanna-be chef, foodie, traveler, and a Laker and Seahawks fan. When time permits, he and his wife (and dogs) often explore the great outdoors that Washington state has to offer.

My partner and I moved to Blaine from CA a few years ago and we are extremely happy that we found Ferndale family dental. We have been going here little over 2 years and we are very impressed with their modern technology equipments, their customer service is top notch and Dr. Michael Sacro is wonderful. He is extremely gentle but very detailed oriented. He listens to me and explains every procedures very throughly. I have a phobia of needles and going to dentist in general but Michael makes every visit very relaxing and pain free. I highly recommend this facility.

I was nervous to see a dentist since I haven't had dental care in an embarrassingly long time. Ferndale Family Dental was such a relief. The staff were so friendly and explained things really well. The doctor was so kind and nonjudgmental! The doctor made it a point to make me feel comfortable and explain everything upfront, lay out an ideal game plan, and gave me full say on what I wanted to prioritize. Truly a wonderful first impression. Excited to come back!

Just had a crown prep appt. However, now they can manufacture a crown for most situations at this appt! AWESOME. I had an old filling removed, decay removed, crown prep done AND the crown manufactured and placed all at the same appt. Emily is very gentle placing and removing mouth items. Also she and the doctor are kind and understanding during the treatment. Especially when you get a cramp in your jaw and need to take a break. Kimberly is always helpful and willing to answer questions. Plus the front desk staff are efficient and friendly. So happy this is my dental office!!
