For Dr. Cathy Fermelia, dentistry is more than just treating teeth; its about treating patients like family. Her passion for dentistry and for helping others is something that has driven Dr. Fermelia to giving her patients first-class care in every way.
Dr. Fermelia graduated from Creighton University in 1981 with a degree in mathematics, and then earned her dental degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1985. After graduating, she worked at the Memorial Hospital, Childrens Hospital, Veterans Administration Hospital, and a rehabilitation center at Oklahoma Medical Center. From her time at the Oklahoma Medical Center, Dr. Fermelia is qualified and experienced in treating young children and elderly patients. Since her graduation and residency, Dr. Fermelia has continued her education by attending continuing education courses and receiving training in endodontics, orthodontics, implants, and dental laser use.
In 1991, she bought her practice in Lakewood, Colorado, and has been the recipient of the Spectrum Award for Customer Service, has won the Award from North America Center for Dentistry, and has been named one of Americas Best Dentists. Dr. Fermelia is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Society.
Dr. Fermelia has been married to her husband since 1986. She and her husband have two adult children, a son in engineering and a daughter in medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Fermelia enjoys running, skiing, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and learning trivia. She and her husband also enjoy taking yearly motorcycle trips together.
Dr. Haupt is an Idaho native and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Idaho State University. She was accepted into the highly competitive Idaho Dental Education Program and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. While at Creighton, she received the Creighton University Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Achievement Award and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Over the years Dr. Haupt has gained extensive implant experience while working at ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers, completing over 700 all-on-four procedures and placing thousands of implants. In addition to implants, Dr. Haupt has developed a passion for sinus grafting and third molar removal. Combined with her passion for oral surgery, Dr. Haupts compassion for every patients unique story makes her a perfect fit on the Willow Creek Way team.

Had my first appointment this morning with this office and for the first time in my life I did not feel judged, overwhelmed or scared when leaving my appointment. Every single person I interacted with was extremely nice, professional and welcoming! I would recommend them to anyone and am excited to have finally found an office I feel excited to work with!

I went to Fermilia for the first time today and I am thoroughly impressed! The clinic of all women are professional, knowledgeable, very friendly. They work as a team and they have their process for excellent patient care down to a science. I can't say enough about Fermelia, so glad a friend referred me to them.

My wife and I are both 60-yrs old, and began seeing Dr. Qui for our 6-month check ups a few years back, as a result of a move, and a recommendation from our previous dentists who we liked quite a lot. We are both pretty health conscience and my wife was a dental hygienist several years back, (before changing her career to IT and finance.) Dr. Qui (pronounced "key") and his staff are excellent! They really care about you, and your general health, as well as your dental and oral health. They don't suggest procedures that can wait, but they also do a good job of explaining your options and informing you of issues that they are watching, and may need attention down the road. The work he / they do is second to none! I had a tooth crowned this week and it was an excellent experience (zero pain), with excellent results! UPDATE: They offer great dental services, but are constantly trying to "upsell" us with other things we don't want.

Fermelia Dental was great! As a new patient I was so impressed with how thorough they were. The staff is very friendly and during the appointment I was consistently asked about my comfort which made me feel like they really care. Christina, one of the hygienists and Dr. Fermelia explained everything really well and made sure any concerns I had were addressed. They really do want to provide a good patient experience.

Fermelia Dental Dental is in the same classification as a high pressure and high volume car sales. They want your money not you driving your care. On July 21, 2021 I went for a first time appointment with this office. I had told them 3 times that I was there for pain management (by the way I recorded the visit) for a painful tooth. I also told them that I do not want anything done that my Dental Insurance would not cover. From the start the hygienist tried to find common ground to get me to relax (common sales tactic) and she said that they wanted to maximize my experience and care. I told her that I was only there for pain management only due to a bad tooth. They ignored my request by rather they began their well organized sales push. They did not see as someone as in pain rather I felt like cash cow that they wanted to milk. I then assertively told them that I was only there for pain management and they finally decided that my tooth needed to be pulled. The doctor and hygienist then began discussion if they had time to pull my tooth. They carried on this discussion in front of me without addressing me. Again, I am the cow to milk. The doctor then left the room without addressing me. The hygienist then asked if she could do a deep cleaning of my gums. At this point I am 1. in pain. 2. Very upset because of the very poor customer service that was being given. They eventually came in with a treatment plan that would cost me around 4K to maximize my dental needs. This plan had from replacing feelings cosmetic upgrades. They then told me that the doctor did find time to pull my tooth. At this point I had enough and I walked out. I was in a lot of pain and this has been the only time that I have ever walked out of any appointment. I then called for my x-rays and treatment plan to be emailed to me. The treatment plan they emailed was not the one they showed me the day of the office visit. I then received a bill from the office for services that I did not authorize. Again I told them that I did not want anything that my insurance will will not cover. I then filed a complaint with my insurance company and I left a message (twice) for them to contact me regarding this bill. I never heard from them rather they sent this bill to collections. They are charming and they project that they care. Rather they are a well oiled machine. I told them that I would take further action if they did not respond... They responded by another collections letter. I will now take this higher on many levels.
