Dr. J. Fred Felton has been practicing in the area since 1988. He is a Diplomate of the Board of the American Academy of Periodontology. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and both his dental degree and his periodontal specialty training from the University of Maryland. He also proudly served as a dental officer in the United States Navy.Dr. Felton is a past president of the Maryland Association of Periodontists and a member of the American Academy of Periodontology. He has been voted top dentist in Baltimore Magazine numerous times. He is a member of the Metropolitan Dental Study Club and on the executive board of the Greater Catonsville Dental Study Club.
