Born in Franklin, Indiana, Dr. Jeremy Felt moved to Utah when he was seven years old. He grew up in Layton and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah and Weber State University.
For most of his life, Dr. Felt had wanted to work in healthcare, as well as run his own business and work with people every dayand dentistry provided him the opportunity to do all three. So he returned to Indiana, where he earned his DDS degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry.
After settling his family back in Utah, Dr. Felt started his own practice. I love seeing how good dental work can have a major impact on the lives of my patients, he says. Providing an outstanding patient experience and a happy staff are major priorities for Dr. Felt. I think the doctors attitude and energy set the tone for the office and patients can sense that. If everyone is happy and having a good time, patients are less nervous and their overall experience is better.
Dr. Felt is married to LaShele, also from Layton, and they currently have three children: Skyler, Weston, and Kate. Dr. Felt enjoys golf, running, outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with his family. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association. He also speaks fluent Spanish.
Dr. Hanks graduated from the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry in 2013. She was born in Mexico but moved to the San Diego area and was raised there before attending the University of Utah for her undergraduate studies. Her mother is also a dentist and practices in San Diego. Dr. Hanks loves living in Utah with her husband (whom she met at a Brazilian Capoeira class at the U), her two little girls (ages 3 and 7 months) and her two dogs (a min-pin doxie and puggle).
Her main hobbies include spending time with her kiddos and husband. She says, I do like to do capoeira and run when time and energy allows. I love to bake or try new recipes for meals. I am trying to teach myself to crochet and sew (I want to learn to make my kids Halloween costumes and super cute outfits).
Dr. Hanks is committed to quality and comfort in her dental care. I like to treat the patient like I would a family member, give them the best work I can and make sure they are informed as to why something is needed. I know having someone invading their personal space is no fun, so if I can make the experience more pleasant, I have done my job.
After his first sons were born, he chose to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather and several other family members who had forged successful dental careers. Dr. Felt completed his Bachelors degree at the University of Utah, then attended Indiana University to earn his DDS degree.
Since joining the dental profession, Dr. Felt has never looked back. I enjoy being a dentist, he says. I like considering patient concerns and determining available options for resolving these concerns. Every patient and every day are just a little bit different, which keeps things interesting. I make an effort to help patients feel comfortable throughout the experience. I am grateful that they have chosen me and trust me to help them.
Thanks to his service as an LDS missionary in northeastern Brazil, Dr. Felt is fluent in Portuguese. He enjoys skiing, biking, and especially being a husband and father. Dr. Felt is a member of the American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association.
Dr. Felt knew most of his life that he wanted to become a dentist. Through many experiences in school and work, Dr. Felt realized that he loved to work with people and also loved running and managing a business. These passions still aligned with his ultimate goal of being a dentist.
Dr. Felt and his family moved to Oklahoma where he graduated with his DDS degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Dr. Felt and his wife Selina always knew that they wanted to live and practice right here in Davis County. They have 4 kids-Preslee, Brecken, Quinnlyn, and Brigham.
Dr. Felt loves working with and helping people. After a 2 year mission serving people in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and working in a retail job for many years during his undergraduate studies, he grew a passion for helping people with their needs and desires.
I love to help my patients achieve their goal of a beautiful smile and healthy lifestyle. Sitting down with patients, talking with them and getting to know them is the best part of my day. My primary goal is to make every patients experience in our office the best they have ever had. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have every day to make peoples lives better through a healthy, happy smile.

My hygienist Bayli was awesome. Everyone was so nice and great at explaining everything. Dr. Felt is amazing! I recommend this dentist to EVERYONE!

Great experience! David Felt and all the Felt dentist group are very nice and good listeners. The staff are all the same, very good people. They make you feel like family. Everything is explained clearly; the procedure, insurance, and billing, and if you want you can watch your crown being made in the office. Dr. Felt is a perfectionist at designing your crown using 3D and cad system. He corrected the errors from another dentist, a crown that failed after 4 yrs, by shaping the new crown on cad, while you're watching the screen and discussing the whole procedure...fantastic and you don't have to wear a temp crown. All is done in 1 visit and for the same cost as the old fashion steps the other dentist still use. I am lucky to have found the Felt Dentistry group

Fantastic dentistry! Dr. Felt and his team changed my view on dentists. After a few bad providers, I was apprehensive about going to Dr. Felt's but his team did a fantastic job at explaining everything thing they were doing and going over insurance/costs. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a dentist.

First time visiting Dr Felt's office and the experience was great. My hygienist, Bayli was very friendly, knowledgeable and gentle (nothing worse than when your teeth ache the rest of the day). Dr. Felt was very thorough and listened to my concerns. Also super friendly!

Dr Felt and his staff are amazing! I felt so comfortable and at ease, like you are part of a family. Dr Felt and his staff provides an atmosphere of professionalism yet also being very personal. We had a great experience at Felt Family Dental! Dr Felt & his staff were very kind, attentive and caring. Dr Felt answered all our questions and referred us to a reputable orthodontist who could help my son with orthodontia issues. The hygienist was super gentle & kind with my daughter who is afraid of having dental work done. She came out with a smile on her face and said she wants to keep coming back. They treated her so good! We were greatly satisfied with the care we received and recommend Dr Felt for any dental needs.

Dr Felt and his entire staff are professional and fun. They are all so kind. Dr Felt does great work and he cares about your oral health and you as a person. Wonderful place to go every 6 months or more if needed.
